You’ll be tasked with choosing Aphrodite’s fate, playing matchmaker for Hecate, challenging Medusa, and so much more in Act Two of Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. For a little help on the story so far and what’s to come, read on ahead.

The Story So Far

Throughout the first act, you’ll have chosen between Pan and Freddie, as well as between Apollo and Persephone.

You’ll still do plenty of interacting with whoever you didn’t choose, but the dynamics you experience arevastlydifferent depending on the choices you’ve made.

You’re likely already on the path to romancing at least one of these characters, too.You don’t have to romance anyone, but there will already have been several chances to do so in Act One to sow the seeds, that you’ll follow up on in Act Two.

With the major players in your investigation decided in Act One, Act Two focuses onfollowing leads you received in Act Onefor the investigation.

These leads will often lead to secondary locations or paying revisits to locations you’ve already seen, butcheck what day of the investigation you’re onin the bottom corner of the screen on the overworld menu.

Speak With Freddie At Your Apartment For Background Info

When Act Two formally begins, the first thing you’ll do isbump into Freddie when you go homeagain toGrace’s Apartment.

Thetone here is decided by whether you chose Freddie earlierover Pan, with Freddie more helpful overall if you opted to stick with her or go it alone.

If yousided with Pan, Freddie will apologize before she and Grace bounce ideas off one another beforeGrace leaves again without Freddie’s help.

However, if yousided with Freddie, you’ve got a great resource in her -Freddie knows alotabout Greek mythology.

This means it’s your chance toask her about the gods you’ve met so far, and Freddie will happilytell you the legends she knowsabout your new friends.

It’s up to you whether you let the stories color your vision, butif you sided with Freddie, she’ll tell you all you need to know before you leaveto chase your next lead.

The First Choices: Pan’s Favor Or Aphrodite’s Party

To kick off Act Two, you’ve got two major assignments first:Pan wants to see youover at Olympus, but you’ve also gota party for Aphroditeon deck as well.

You’reable to talk to Pan immediatelyafter you leave your apartment, but you’llneed an invitation from the Idol you sided with in Act Onefor the party, requiring a chat with them first.

There isno right or wrong orderin which to do these tasks. You’ll do both in the first half of Act Two regardless of where you started.

Pan’s Favor And “Cast A Spell” Summary And Guide

A friend of Pan’s has asked him for help with a romantic problem, but Pan thinks Grace is far better suited to affairs of the heart, so he cashes in his favor tosend Grace to The Reliquary.

Here, you’ll meetHecate, the keeper at The Reliquary, andAsterion, also known asthe Minotaur, who needs your help toconfess his love to Hecate.

You’ll just need to make it past Hecate and her all-knowing powers first.

Aphrodite’s Party And “The Ritual” Summary And Guide

Check in with whichever god you sided with in Act One to receive an invitation toAphrodite’s Party- her memories are too haunting, andAphrodite is ready to pass on her Eidolon.

Here, you’ll haveplenty of sensitive conversationsabout Aphrodite, who she is, what she’s been through, and what she feels she needs to do because of it all.

Grace can choose to eithersing the Goddess of Love to rest,orinterveneand try to persuade Aphrodite to change her mind about passing it on.

Medusa’s Lair And “Look Into Me” Summary And Guide

Following a lead from Asterion in exchange for helping him, Grace mustgo ask Medusa some questionsabout her potential involvement in Calliope’s death.

The only problem is that the legends about Medusa are true -Medusa can turn Grace to stone. Thankfully, backup you’ve chosen for yourself along the way may come in handy here.

Here, you stand tolearn about Medusa and Athena’s history and relationship, and will almost immediately have the power to use the information against them.

The Mirror At The Reliquary Summary And Guide

Now armed with more information than before, Grace heads back to the Reliquary totry to put herself into Calliope’s shoes, soshe can remember through Calliope’s memories what happened the night Calliope died.

She gets more than she bargained for, though, when sheinvokes the Furies, humanoid creatures hell-bent on stabbing Grace to death the same way they’re implied to have done to Calliope.
