Enemies In Saltwater Mines

As the introductory dungeon, Saltwater Mines offers a variety offairly easy tutorial enemiesto help you get your feet wet with Fae Farm’s combat system.

Enemies in Fae Farm are calledJumbles, and each of the game’s three dungeons require you to face swarms of gradually more difficult monsters before you can progress.

With Eddy telling you about how he lost his ship to a Whirlpool after he swore his steering wheel attacked him, it may not come as a surprise that theJumbles in Saltwater Mineshave anautical theme.

Theirattack patternsare all fairly straightforward to learn, so just be mindful of how they move and strike while you’re able.

New enemies spawn deeper in the dungeon, meaning you’ll face tougher foes the deeper you go.

The list below is organized bythe order in which you’ll encounter Jumblesin Saltwater Mines.

Leaping at you in a thin, straight line

Tresroar

Jumping around before jumping at you in a wide, straight line

Spinning in straight lines around the floor

Sinker

Jumping up out of reach and landing in a wide circle, dealing damage in that range

Cannot

Shooting cannonballs in a thin, straight line that doesn’t stop until the edge of the screen, and jumping to avoid your attacks

Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Coal

You don’thaveto fight any enemies - if you’re confident sneaking through them (or at least need to try before you run out of health), you’re able tosneak around them between attacks.

This can be further simplified with anInvisibility Potion, but with or without, it’s a valid strategy to make it to the next floor if your health is low.

Saltwater Mines Sprite: Neppy

On the final floor of Saltwater Mines,Floor 25, you’ll find the dungeon’s reigning Sprite:Neppy, a water dragon who’s elated to finally have a visitor - living deep within a mine is lonely business!

Neppy has beenmaking the Whirlpoolsthat have rendered Azoria inaccessible, but they were unaware this was harming the nearby town.

They promise tostop making their Whirlpoolson one condition - that youprepare a mealfor the two of you, since Neppy hasn’t had company in quite some time.

You’re set off toprepare a variety of items, bothedible and inedible, which you’ll need to bring back to Neppy’s Lair and offer at the pool in front of them.

Once their appetite is sated, Neppy stops making the Whirlpools and offers you anew spellfor your Staff - theVortex Spell, which creates a massive swirl of air around your farmer.
