Seasons In Fae Farm, Explained

Like most farming sim games,Fae Farm features four different seasons, all modeled after the real world. Azoria may have plenty of magic and some of its own weather quirks, but there’s nothing too egregious that you may not expect in a certain season.

Each season lasts28 days, which you can look at in advance using theCalendarin the pause menu to see weather conditions, birthdays, and events for the day.

Not only does each season come withseasonal crops, an array ofCrittersandFishin each location around Azoria,foraged goodsboth in town and in the Mountain, and dailyweather patterns. Some of the above may occasionally overlap, but for the most part, the majority of your items will be seasonal.

You can, however,grow cropsout of season on your farms using seasonal soil beds. Place these down instead of regular soil, and you’ll grow a seasonal variant of your crop instead.

Spring Overview

Weather

For the majority of Spring in Fae Farm, you’ll enjoysunny skiesthat allow for normal, everyday activity.

However, you’ll also be up against a fair amount ofrainthroughout the season. Your farmer will becomeDrenched, and they’ll lose energy if outside too long.

You’ll likely need to play into a second year to circle back to seasonal variants on the more advanced crops, if you haven’t made seasonal farming beds to begin growing those variants.

Summer Overview

Summers in Azoria, for the most part, are prettyhot. Sunny days are taken to a new extreme when your farmer can becomeOverheatedwhen outside for too long.

There will still be rainy days, but you’re more likely to seeThunderstormsthan regular showers.

Tomato

By summer, you’ll have at least one new crop available at Holly’s shop -Potatoes. They’re your first foray into new crops, and they unlock atLevel 10 Farming.

You may also have unlockedCornby now, too, which becomes available when you hitLevel 15 Farming.

Autumn Overview

Autumn is when you’ll encounter the highest number ofrainy daysin any of the seasons in Fae Farm. This is excellent for your crops, but potentially soggy for your farmer!

You may also experiencefog, which seems to be purely for visual effect, as far as we can tell.

Winter Overview

You’ll get some sun during the Winter, but you’re up against quite a number ofsnowy dayshere as well.

Snow will water crops, but it alsomakes your farmer Drenchedand should therefore be treated like rain.

By Winter, you’ll likely have access toPeppersatLevel 20 Farming, so be sure to get cracking on your sixth and final crop!
