Fae Farmboasts a lot of the classic hallmarks of farming sim games, with dynamic weather proving a challenge for even the most seasoned of digital farmers. As indicated by the icon under your clock in the top-right of the screen, weather decides exactly how much energy your farmer will be spending that day.

With harsher weather rapidly draining stamina, and the most extreme weather conditions making our farmers pass out before long, we’re taking a look at all the weather conditions you’ll experience in Azoria as you play through Fae Farm. Grab some Iced Tea and get to work!
Sun Or Clouds Is The Default
On the majority of days in Azoria, you’ll find that the weather is eitherSunnyorCloudy. You’ll head outside your house in the morning to see asun or cloud iconon the weather tracker on your screen, denoting that it’ll be another regular day.
This is what you’ll see most typically, and these weather conditionsdon’t impact your gameplaythat much.

They’re considered the standard, and you’ll experience life in Azoria as normal on days like this. They’ll be the most common kind of day you have.
You’lltire out normallyas you use your tools, and will otherwise be fine to go about your day.

Rainy Weather Drains Energy
OnRainy Days, however, you’ll notice thatyour farmer shiversalmost as soon as they walk outside, looking up at the camera with a sad expression. You’ll see a littlerain or thunder iconin weather slot in the top-right corner on these days.
That’s because in the rain, you’llshiveras the water soaks you through, andyou lose energy periodicallythe longer you stay out in the rain.

Tasks don’t seem to require any more energy than normal, but you’ll haveless energy to work withthan on normal days. Yourwatering can fills slowlyon these days, just from the residual water from the storm!
You may also occasionally experienceThunderstorms, which, from what we can tell, don’t act much differently than regular Rain.

To combat the sogginess of the rain, you candrink Green Teafrom the Beverage Station. Green Tea, and other beverages with theraindrop iconon the thumbnail in your inventory, willoffer temporary protection from the rain.
These effects typically last a couple of hours, so you’ll need more than one drink if you’ve got a full day ahead, but use Green Tea to counter the effects of the rain!
Summer Heat Is Tough To Beat
Once you’ve played through the entirety of the introductory Spring season, you’ll be primed and ready to go for all the changes that are about to happen in Summer. New crops, new Critters, new Fish, and more!44
Except, sunny days in the summer are brutally hot, as you’ll be able to see at a glance whenyour farmer sweats and looks like they’re uncomfortable.
The majority of your days during the Summer season will fall into this category unless the weather icon shows clouds for the day instead when it’s going to rain or storm.
Heat won’t make your farmer pass out like you may expect in real life, butthe longer you’re in the heat, the more energy you’ll lose.
Energy seems to come off in chunks, with your farmer complaining out loud as the green bar depletes a bit.It decreases periodicallyuntil you have no energy left that day.
However, like rain, there arebeverages that counteract the heat, available to create at theBeverage Station.
Any of the teas listed here that have asunshine iconon the thumbnail willoffer temporary protection against the heat.
Pack a couple of glasses ofIced Teainto your farmer’s inventory to keep them cool on even the most sweltering days.
Extreme Cold Can Freeze You Solid
As you’re exploring Azoria in your earliest days there, you may stumble across a path in West Town that leads up into an icy tundra.
Unfortunately, you can’t make it very far up that way quite yet - it’sfreezingup there, indicated by the piled snow and blustering winds.
Your farmer can handle some pretty extreme stuff, butstaying in the cold for too long can freeze you, which acts like passing out in combat and brings you back to your Homestead.
Before advancing into that part of the story, you’llonly be able to withstand the freezing cold for a few minutesbefore you’re frozen solid.
You can see the progression of your farmer’s freeze by ameter at the top of the screen, which fills the longer you’re in the cold.
You’ll also have some on-screengraphics that turn blue and crack like icethe colder your farmer gets, almost unable to see through before they pass out.
