The seventh week ofDestiny 2’sSeason of the Witch has released with nine new Seasonal Challenges, each offering large sums of XP when completed. These challenge also serve as your main source of Bright Dust throughout a season, offering a particularly large bundle if you can complete nearly every Seasonal Challenge.
This week’s challenges require you to defeat enemies with Power weapons, eliminate Gambit enemies with Light subclasses, and buff your allies with subclass keywords. None of the challenges this week are particularly difficult, although a few will take some time to complete. We’ll cover all nine challenges added this week, cover their rewards, and provide tips on how to complete them as quickly as possible.

Acolyte’s Ascent VII:Complete Week 7 of “The Bladed Path” quest.
Reward
This week marks the final set of objectives for “The Bladed Path” quest. The quest will ask you to complete a somewhat difficult mission solo, so bring a good loadout.Mission: Sunder has a fairly tough boss and dozens of adds. Weapons with Incandescent, Voltshot, or Dragonfly are highly recommended.

Power Caster
Power Caster:Defeat combatants with Power weapons in Season of the Witch activities.
Power Caster requires you todefeat 100 enemies with Power weapons in Savathun’s Spire or Altars of Summoning.Either activity works since both feature high enemy density. We recommend equipping a Machine Gun and The Blades card in yourDeck of Whispers. This will cause enemies to drop significantly more Heavy ammo, allowing you to use your Machine Gun for the entire activity.

Ritual Rampage
Ritual Rampage:Rapidly defeat combatants and defeat challenging combatants in the Altars of Summoning.
While in the Altars of Summoning, land 25 multikills and defeat 25 powerful combatants.Powerful combatants include orange bars (majors), minibosses, and boss enemies. You can farm T1 or T2 encounters if you wish to get this done easily, as your Offering tier has no impact on the enemies that spawn.

Boomsayer
Boomsayer:Defeat targets with Rocket Launchers or Machine Guns. Earn bonus progress by defeating Guardians or by defeating combatants in Season of the Witch activities.
Boomsayer requires you todefeat 200 enemies with Rocket Launchers or Machine Guns. You’ll receive double progress for Guardian kills and Season of the Witch combatants, so we recommendfarming Savathun’s Spire with a Machine Gun.This activity has tons of enemies, pulls cards from your Deck of Whispers, and features Rally Flags. Some good Machine Guns include Thunderlord, Commemoration, and Retrofit Escapade.

Lost In The Legend
Lost in the Legend:Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher.
Rewards
Each day, one Lost Sector will be tagged as a Legendary variant on your Director, denoted with a Lost Sector icon under the planet’s name. You must clear the Lost Sector on Legend or Master difficultyfor this challenge. The score you receive doesn’t matter, and attempting this with a group doesnotvoid challenge progress. We recommend running this solo if possible since you’ll have a moderate chance of receiving an Exotic armor piece upon completion.
Guardian Spirit
Guardian Spirit:Assist your allies via revives, healing, overshields, and subclass buffs in Vanguard, Gambit, or Crucible playlists.
Guardian Spirit’s description might seem strange, but this challenge is simply asking you toapply 30 subclass buffs to allies in ritual playlists—Vanguard Ops, Crucible, and Gambit. Buffs like Void Overshields, Radiant, and Woven Mail all count for this challenge. To get this done quickly, we recommend playing a Solar subclass with Healing Grenades and Ember of Torches, buffing nearby allies with Radiant when you land a powered melee ability. You can use Ember of Benevolence to further reduce your cooldowns.

For a full list of subclass buffs, consult the subclass guides below:
Gotta Win Them All
Gotta Win Them AlI:Complete activities in Vanguard, Gambit, or Crucible playlists. Bonus progress is granted for completing Vanguard playlist activities at Hero difficulty or higher, or for winning Gambit or Crucible matches.
This challenge requires you tocomplete 30 ritual activities, with bonus progress awarded for completing Nightfalls or winning PvP matches. We recommend farming Crucible matches if you’re a decent PvP player, as PvP matches tend to go by faster than higher-tier Nightfalls. Rotator playlists—Momentum Control, Mayhem, and Team Scorched—tend to go by extremely fast and are fairly casual game types. If you dislike PvP, farm Hero-tier Nightfalls since they include matchmaking. Players in an active clan can opt to farm Master or GM Nightfalls instead.

Enlightened Gambit
Enlightened Gambit:Defeat targets with the Arc, Solar, or Void subclass equipped in Gambit. Bonus progress is awarded for ability final blows and Guardian final blows.
While you’re using an Arc, Solar, or Void subclass, defeat 200 enemies in Gambitto finish this challenge. Ability and Guardian final blows grant bonus progress, so we recommend speccing heavily into ability-centric builds:

Rapid Precision
Rapid Precision:Get rapid precision final blows. Bonus progress is granted for every defeated target after the second one.
Rapid Precision requires you toland 150 precision multikills. Each kill after the second will grant bonus progress, so a lengthy precision spree of 20+ kills will grant substantial progress. Any activity with high enemy density will work, preferablySeason of the Witch activitieslike Savathun’s Spire or Altars of Summoning. As for weapons, you can’t go wrong with Hand Cannons. They have a ton of aim assist and are incredibly easy to use.
