Seasonal Challenges are a great way to progress throughDestiny 2’sSeason Pass while earning Bright Dust to spend in the Eververse store. For the first ten weeks of a given season, Bungie releases a set of Seasonal Challenges that encourage players to engage with every aspect of Destiny, ranging from ritual content to endgame activities.

Season of the Witch’s eighth set of Seasonal Challenges should be easy to complete for most, making this a great week to finish the Season Pass or build up a small stockpile of Bright Dust. This guide will cover how to complete all seven of these challenges with farming tips, build suggestions, and other useful tricks.

Destiny 2 Berserker Titan Using Strand Super

Filamentary Magic

Filamentary Magic:Defeat targets with Strand, Arc, or Solar Supers. Earn bonus progress for defeating Guardians.

Reward

Eliminate 100 targets with Arc, Solar, or Strand Supersin any activity to complete this challenge. We recommend farming either theGrasp of Avariceopening encounter or theMayhemPvP playlist when it’s available. The latter will offer far more progress but only appears during certain weeks. When Mayhem isn’t available, farm Grasp of Avarice. The Burdened by Riches debuff will fully restore your Super at x10 stacks, allowing you to spam your Super for quick progress. If you don’t own the 30th Anniversary Pack, simply farm Altars of Summoning instead.

Ponderous Orbs

Ponderous Orbs:Generate Orbs of Power and find any hidden chest within Savathun’s Spire.

Ponderous Orbs has two objectives you must complete:

Orbs of Powerare fairly easy to spawn with a good build. Ability-focused builds should use the Firepower or Heavy Handed arm mods to spawn Orbs of Power from grenade and melee kills, respectively. Another option is to equip your favorite roaming Super and the Power Preservation mod on your helmet. This will let your Super spawn far more Orbs of Power than usual.

Hidden chestsin Savathun’s Spire rotate on a weekly basis and are typically found during jumping puzzles. Exact hidden chest locations may be found in ourSavathun’s Spire activity guide.

Destiny 2 Arc Titan Shoulder Charge

Precision Paraphysics

Precision Paraphysics:Defeat targets with Bows or Hand Cannons. Earn bonus progress by defeating Guardians or by defeating combatants in Season of the Witch activities.

The fastest way to complete this challenge is touse Exotic Bows or Hand Cannons in Altars of Summoning.Trinity Ghoul, Le Monarque, and Sunshot are all fantasticfor quickly eliminating red bars and tougher majors. You’ll need200 killsto finish this challenge, cut in half if you’re playing Season of the Witch activities. Altars of Summoning is our choice due to its high enemy density and endless nature, allowing you to farm as many kills as needed until the challenge is complete.

Destiny 2 Sunshot Hand Cannon

Punch Drunk:Get powered melee final blows in ritual playlists.

Rewards

Melee builds should have no issue completing this challenge. You’ll need to land100 powered melee kills in Vanguard Ops, Crucible, or Gambit matches.Farming the Vanguard Ops playlist is recommended due to high PvE enemy density in more recent strikes and Battlegrounds.

Flourish Of Power

Flourish of Power:Defeat Guardians in the Mayhem playlist with Super abilities.

Mayhem is a rotating PvP playlist that isn’t always active.

While the Mayhem playlist is active, you mustdefeat 25 Guardians with your Superto complete this challenge. Any Super will count for this challenge, although one-and-done Supers like Blade Barrage and Thundercrash tend to do best here. Mayhem recharges your Super in a few seconds, so you should be able to complete this challenge in a couple of games.

Boss Battle:Defeat bosses in strikes or Vanguard playlists.

Destiny 2 Arc Titan

Vanguard Ops will serve as your main source of boss kills for this challenge. You’ll need to defeat20 bossesin Vanguard playlists for this challenge, bosses referring to any ultra-class enemies you fight. These tend to be the final boss at the end of a given strike or Battleground. This challenge will take some time to complete, so feel free to slowly grind this out throughout the rest of the season while obtaining pinnacle rewards orVanguard Ranks.

Kinetic Forces

Kinetic Forces:Get final blows with Kinetic weapons. Bonus progress for defeating Guardians.

As with most weapon-specific challenges, Kinetic Forces requires you toland 150 Kinetic weapon final blowsin any activity, PvP granting bonus progress. We generally recommend farming PvE content to get this done quickly, ideally something with high enemy density like Savathun’s Spire. Some good Kinetic weapons include Malfeasance, Huckleberry, Witherhoard, Osteo Striga, and Quicksilver Storm without its Catalyst installed.
