Destiny 2’sSeason of the Witch might have concluded its story, but there are still a few Seasonal Challenges left to release. Each week, Bungie releases a series of time-limited Triumphs that award large sums of XP and Bright Dust when completed. They serve as your main source of Season Pass ranks throughout the season, and they offer thousands of Bright Dust if you’re willing to complete most of them.
This set of Seasonal Challenges is fairly easy, requiring you to farm Lost Sectors, complete Nightfalls, and defeat combatants with certain elemental damage types. We’ll go over how to complete all seven challenges this week, their rewards, and give some tips on how to complete these challenges as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Sol Sorcery
Sol Sorcery:Defeat combatants anywhere in the system with the damage type that matches your subclass. Earn bonus progress from combatants in Haunted Sectors during Festival of the Lost.
Reward
This Seasonal Challenge requires you todefeat 1,000 enemies with the damage type that matches your subclass. For example, equipping a Solar subclass would cause all Solar kills to grant progress. Weapon and ability kills both grant progress for this challenge, and enemies slain in Haunted Lost Sectors grant twice as much progress.
As for which subclass to use, it’s mostly down to preference.Solaris a great option since there are ability-centric builds available for all three Solar subclasses. Hunters can use Knock ‘Em Down to spam throwing knives, while Titans can just use the Throwing Hammer melee ability to repeatedly hit enemies with powered melee strikes. Warlocks should use the Sunbracers Exotic to throw a flurry of grenades after landing a melee kill.

Sun And Moon
Sun and Moon:Defeat combatants with Void or Solar damage in the Altars of Summoning.
While in the Altars of Summoning activity, defeat 75 enemies with Void or Solar damage. This damage can come from weapons or abilities. We recommend using a Solar subclass and Solar weapons to progress this Seasonal Challenge and Sol Sorcery at the same time. The encounter tier doesn’t matter, so we recommend farming T1 or T2 Altars of Summoning encounters to get this done quickly.

Into The Unknown
Into the Unknown:Complete Lost Sectors on Neptune, in Savathun’s Throne World, or on Europa. Haunted Sectors also grant progress during Festival of the Lost.
Into the Unknown tracks your Lost Sector completions across Neptune, Savathun’s Throne World, and Neptune. Haunted Sectors also grant progress, provided you’re attempting this challenge while Festival of the Lost is active. The API states that you need to clear 100 Lost Sectors, but the actual requirement is far lower.

We recommend farming Moon Lost Sectorsto get this done quickly, notably the K1 Revelation Lost Sector. This Lost Sector is fairly short and can be speedrun witha Strand subclassand Eager Edge Sword. Europa Lost Sectors are also an option. If Festival of the Lost is active, farm Haunted Sectors instead, as these award event currencies that you can use to earn Festival of the Lost weapons and Exotic armor pieces.
Rewards
This Seasonal Challenge is retroactive.
This season’s ritual weapon isMalediction, a 120 RPM Hand Cannon awarded from ritual vendors. This challenge requires you toearn an ornament for Maledictionby resetting your rank with a ritual vendor and reaching Rank 16 with them again. Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, and the Drifter each offer a unique ornament.
To get this done quickly, we recommend either farmingPvP or Vanguard Opswhenever a double reputation week is active. Continue playing in the playlist to build up an Activity Streak, and remember to claim your rewards from the ritual vendor to reset your rank. If you already obtained an ornament for Malediction this season, the RItual Ornament challenge will automatically be completed.

Moon Activities
Moon Activities:On the Moon, earn progress by completing bounties, patrols, public events, and Lost Sectors.
Moon Activities grants progress by activities on the Moon. We recommendfarming bounties and Lost Sectorsto get this done quickly. Legend, Master, and Haunted variants of the Moon’s Lost Sectors grant progress towards this challenge as well, so we recommend farming those unique variants whenever possible to maximize your rewards.K1 Revelationis the Lost Sector we recommend farming. It’s short, features many enemies to complete Eris Morn’s bounties, and sometimes appears in the Haunted Sectors playlist for Festival of the Lost.

Eyeing Iron
Eyeing Iron:Complete Crucible matches. Earn bonus progress in Iron Banner and for victories.
Eyeing Iron doesnotrequire you toplay Iron Bannerto complete it. Simply put,you must complete 15 PvP matchesthis season. Any matches completed beforehand donotcount, although Iron Banner matches and PvP wins will grant bonus progress. We recommend farming the rotating playlist—including the likes of Mayhem, Momentum Control, and Team Scorched—to get this done quickly. If none of those playlists are active, try farming Control.

Darkest Nightfall:Complete any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher.
Darkest Nightfall requires you tocomplete four Nightfalls. The higher the difficulty, the more progress you’ll make towards this Seasonal Challenge. Experienced players can complete this challenge from a single GM Nightfall, although we recommend most players gravitate towardsHero difficultinstead. Hero offers matchmaking and far fewer Champions than higher difficulties, making this challenge far easier.
