The Baking skill is easier to master than ever before in The Sims 4, and we hope the new info will help you with all your homestyle baked good needs.
How To Build The Baking Skill
One of the earlier expansion packs for The Sims 4, theGet to Work expansion packadded the Baking skill,among other neat gameplay ideas.
Completely uniquefrom Cookingor Gourmet Cooking, the Baking skill was largely relegated to special machinery until the September 2023 update ahead of the Home Chef Hustle stuff pack made it so yourSims can bake in ovensnow, too.
The easiest way to work on your Sim’s Baking skill is to simply get into the kitchen andclick the oven or fridge to start baking.
You’ll have a handful of options in the"Bake…“menu, which expands as your skill grows.
If you have your own ingredients (like produce from your garden or animal products from your farm), you cancheck the “Use Fresh Ingredients” box at the topof the menu to ensure your Sim is always using their own items first.
Doing so willlower the price the dish costs to make.
The Whipped Dream Cupcake Factory Is Large But Inexpensive To Use
For those unsatisfied with simply baking normal cakes and cookies at home, the Whipped Dream Cupcake Factory machine costs1,200 simoleonsto purchase and can be placed anywhere on the home lot just like a normal oven.
Except,the only thing this machine makes is desserts. After purchasing the machine outright, therecipes cost next to nothing to producewhen you’re making them.
However, you’ll occasionally need torefill the machine’s ingredients, which costs20 simoleonseach time.
Just keep in mind that themachine is rather large, so it’s best to wait until you have ample space before you invest.

Either way,baked goods can be consumed or sold, making them a decent side hustle for The Sims 4.
