Characters inBaldur’s Gate 3have an enormous personality, so much so that they sometimes feel like real people. You spend so much time talking to them and getting involved in their stories that it’s hard not to find one that resonates with you the most. And these decisions are closely tied to your Zodiac sign.

Each star-told personality trait tells a lot about who we are, and at times when you don’t relate to some of them, even that tells a lot about you. When combining the idea of signs with the characters of Baldur’s Gate 3, what that combination says can be very revealing.

12Capricorn (December 22 – January 19): Lae’zel

A Githyanki fighter that wastes no time or words, Lae’zel fits perfectly as a Capricorn. She has a lot of their good characteristics, such as being practical, ambitious, and patient. Yet she mostly represents the bad side of a Capricorn, being extremely fatalistic and rigid in her views.

While Lae’zel can be hard to get to know, she’s a reliable ally and a great example of how much you can count on a Capricorn in extreme situations. And if you give her time, you’ll get to know her softer side as well.

11Aquarius (January 20 – February 18): Withers

While Withers might seem like an unusual pick, Aquarius is quite the unusual sign. Prone to being contrarian, unemotional, and detached, people under the Aquarius sign tend to be seen as the odd ones out of the group. And that can actually be a good thing.

Understanding an Aquarius is much like your first encounter with Withers; you’re getting ready for a boss fight, and the spooky skeleton asks you a philosophy question and then wanders off. Once you get to know him though, he’s actually quite friendly, if a bit cryptic, even offering aid in your adventures. He’s a book that shouldn’t be judged by its cover.

10Pisces (February 19 – March 20): The Guardian

The Pisces sign is said to be a combination of all the signs, having deep and unworldly knowledge. It’s hard to understand where their advice is coming from; this life or another? With how prone they are to be secretive about themselves but so idealistic about others, putting your trust in them could be risky.

That description applies perfectly to The Guardian, the second character you’ll be making during character creation in Baldur’s Gate 3. They seem to want what’s best for you, but can you trust them? With real people, it tends to be a risk worth taking, but with The Guardian, you’ll have to decide for yourself.

9Aries (March 21 – April 19): Gale

Wizards, in general, tend to be patient, reserved, and cautious. Gale doesn’t quite fit with that description, but he fits perfectly with how an Aries sign would be. A pioneer of magic, Gale threw caution to the wind when trying to pursue an unachievable romance and is now paying the consequences of his foolhardy behavior.

Yet he carries on like a good Aries would, adapting to his new troubles and marching forward until a solution is found. He does this with the humorous mood expected from the sign, making him a great friend to tag along with.

8Taurus (April 20 – May 20): Shadowheart

Determined like no other, the Taurus sign sees people as persistent in their goals and unflexible in their ideals. Shadowheart follows the same concepts, not budging when it comes to her religion or her quest.

Another key characteristic of Taurus people is their possessiveness for the material. With that sentence, you may already think about Shadowheart and her artifact and how little she wants to share about it at the beginning of the story. Yet much like the sign, she opens up later on, showing a warm and loving side that can be a key asset if you let her.

7Gemini (May 21 – June 21): Volo

Masters of social encounters, Gemini people thrive in making themselves heard, turning heads towards them. That can very well define any bard, butVolo is particularlysimilar to the Zodiac sign. He’s witty, intellectual, and very eloquent, being able to come up with a solution to any problem. They’re not good solutions, so be warned.

He’s also very superficial, depending on an audience to feel his worth and promising more than he can deliver. Much like the sign, interactions with Volo are always entertaining, but they should be done with a hint of caution.

6Cancer (June 22 – July 22): Halsin

The Cancer sign protects their family and kin against any foe, whether people bothering your siblings or a goblin horde after your grove. Halsin is the leader of the druid grove, and much like the sign, he will do anything to keep them from harm.

The parallels don’t end there since they’re both known for being romantic, if a little bit clingy. Getting to know Halsin will have you both bonded for life, be that as friends or something more.

5Leo (July 23 – August 22): Astarion

Being the life of the party, hanging out with a Leo always ends in a good time. Yet it’s hard for them not to be the center of attention, and they will let you know this. They are creative, with a natural flair for the dramatic, and at times a little patronizing.

All that basically describes Astarion to a fault. He’s always looking after himself, trying to cheat his way through life and come on top while doing so. There’s no denying that he knows how to have a good time, and he’s a fan favorite for his good and bad qualities.

4Virgo (August 23 – September 22): Kagha

Kagha is a great example of Virgo’s characteristics, albeit their bad ones. While she holds the grove close to her heart, the way she goes about leading it leans towards the harshness and unwelcoming of the outside.

You see, the balance the Virgo sign tends to look for is personal, and that tends to lead to perfectionism towards their own gains. She’s cold towards her peers and controls the grove with a tight fist, yet at the end of the day, she can also be practical and analytical, not completely lost in her way of doing things.

3Libra (September 23 – October 23): Wyll

A seeker of justice, Wyll uses hisWarlockpowers to bring evildoers down. Yet his sense of justice is easily manipulated, and he will prefer to start a fight before listening to what the other side has to say. This all tends to be true for people of the Libra sign as well, with fewer Warlock powers, of course.

But Libra is not all about a sense of justice, and neither is Wyll; they are both easygoing and sociable, able to charm others with ease. They’re also very flirtatious, something you will eventually find out.
