Miles is back inSpider-Man 2,as the game provides you with two Spider-Men to play with, and as you already know, their powers are not exactly the same. In his spin-off adventure, Miles showed his unique abilities with exciting moves, but he also has new abilities, being more powerful than ever before.
If that’s not enough for you, these abilities can still be further improved with skill points. With that much at your disposal but without being able to equip all abilities at the same time, which of these is better to have available during your crime-fighting adventure?

7Reverse Flux
This isn’t the strongest ability, but the best part isn’t the overall damage–though it still stings the enemies. This AoE (area of effect) attack will pull enemies toward you and then push them away afterward. Luckily, it doesn’t push them too far away, and that’s the fun part.
Not only will you hurt your opponents, but you’ll bring them closer together, which makes it perfect to follow up with another ability or a gadget that hits multiple opponents at once. It’s the perfect way to start a fight while other abilities will finish it.

6Venom Jump
Venom Jump falls into a similar category - it doesn’t hurt a lot, but it opens enemies up for further attacks. This time, however, you won’t pull enemies closer; instead, you’ll throw them upwards, along with yourself. This will give you an opening for air combos or other abilities and gadgets, similar to Reverse Flux.
Either way, whoever you don’t start hitting with your air combo will take some time to recover, meaning this ability will also give you some breathing room as you focus onthe more dangerous targetsor the weak ones to thin their numbers.

5Venom Smash
It’s time to focus on damage now. Venom Smash is simple and elegant; you hit the ground, create an AoE effect hurting everybody near you, as well as push them away. While that’s all it does, that doesn’t mean it’s not effective.
You get to hit multiple targets, which is always good - especially considering how tough even some minions can be. Depending on the environment, you can immediately take some enemies out by simply throwing them off a building - no need to worry about them; they won’t die, just like in the previous games.

4Thunder Burst
Imagine Venom Smash, but add mobility to it. Thunder Burst is an exciting choice as another powerful AoE strike. You can have it equipped along with Venom Smash, ensuring multiple ways to hit groups of foes nearby.
The main difference here is that Thunder Burst won’t be around you; you’ll jump toward the enemy your camera is most focused on and hit them along with everyone near them. This is very effective for tracking enemies who aren’t that close to you, and it also helps a lot against bosses who move around the map, as you can simply ‘teleport’ on top of them and cause some pain while you’re at it. Oh, and you can upgrade this ability, so you can use it twice per recharge, allowing you to use it more often.

3Chain Lightning
By now, you’ve probably noticed that most of the best abilities here revolve around hitting multiple people. Crowd control is an essential thing in this game, andMiles is a master at it.Chain Lightning is no different, as you may hit many people at once, especially after you upgrade it to hit even more targets than its basic version.
Different from the other options, you shoot lightning at whichever enemy you’re looking at, and it’ll spread over other enemies. It’s quick to use, it takes a while for enemies to recover, and it covers a great range. Because of that, this ability is another good way to give yourself breathing room against the minions and focus on another target while they take their damage and recover from falling prone for a bit.

2Galvanize
Galvanize focuses on a single enemy even though it’ll still hurt others in the process. You’ll perform a beautiful uppercut on your enemy, sending them upward and allowing you to start an air combo on them. Since it’s a quick attack as well, it’s perfect to finish your ground combo and take the fight to the air so you may continue hitting your target while melee opponents won’t be able to hit you.
That’s not all, though. While they’re in the air, they’ll continue to be shocked by your venom powers, and this lightning will come out from time to time, hitting any other opponent who is unlucky enough to be nearby. In other words, you get to hit others while focusing on one enemy.

1Venom Punch
Sometimes, one punch is all you need, especially if you have super strength and electricity powers. Venom Punch is a simple punch that’ll hit whoever is in front of you, along with those who decide to stick by. It’s a perfect attack for when you’re still gettingthe hang of the game.
It’s a great damage source, even against brutes who tend to resist the impact from many abilities, and it’s another source to push people off buildings or wherever you are to instantly remove them from the fight.
