TheYu-Gi-Oh! TCGhas always been fantastic at providing a route for newer players to get into the game. Konami does this particularly well with theirStarter and Structure Decks, where the concept of an entire deck is based around a combination of cards to bring out your duel-winning monsters.

The Crimson King Structure Deck follows this pattern, being built entirely around the Red Dragon Archfiend archetype. The Deck provides you withreprints of oldand new cards, these enhance the playability of the archetype and provide players with a solid deck that can easily be adapted forcompetitive play.

10Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity

Cards that stop your opponent activating effects will always be something to fear in the TCG. However, Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity doesn’t do just that. It also allows you to inflict damage to your opponents, the amount being the destroyed monsters ATK stat. Given the 4000 ATK it possesses itself, there aren’t many monsters that can stand toe-to-toe with it on the field.

The additional effect of being able to Special Summon one level eight or lower Dark Dragon Synchro Monster from the Graveyard only enhances this powerful card further. It is truly a force to be reckoned with, and not something you’d want summoned against you.

9Red Supernova Dragon

Since its release in the Ghosts From The Past set, Red Supernova Dragon has been begging for additional cards to be introduced that give it the playability it deserves. Thankfully the new Resonator cards in this Structure Deck allow for that to happen.

With an effect that banishes every card on your opponent’s board, Red Supernova Dragon is easily a Duel winning monster. Its impressive ATK stat of 4000, which only increases with each Tuner in your Graveyard, bolsters its potential to win you the duel and strike fear into your opponents.

8Red Rising Dragon

Red Rising Dragon should not be overlooked in this Deck. It allows you to combo your way into powerful monsters by utilising its effect of Special Summoning your Resonator monsters. When playing Red Rising Dragon, you’ll soon have a board of high level Synchro monsters ready to obliterate your opponent.

Not only that, Red Rising Dragon also offers a fantastic way to recycle your Resonator monsters. By Banishing itself from the Graveyard, you can Special Summon up to two Resonators that are sitting in your Graveyard to then use for future combo plays.

Simple effects that allow you to quickly find cards that you need for your deck to work are key when it comes to building competitive decks in the TCG. Resonator Call does just this, allowing you to search for a Resonator monster from your Deck to add straight to your hand.

Because a lot of combos in this Deck are based off you having those Resonators to start building your field, this card is crucial to guiding you towards that win condition. Should you be looking at making this Deck even more competitive, picking up a playset of these will only enhance your chances of victory.

6Red Zone

Red Zone is one of nine Trap cards in this deck, however, it stands out as the best. Should you control a Red Dragon Archfiend, or Synchro monster that mentions it, this card allows you to destroy one card on the field, and it’s entirely your choice on what you choose to destroy.

Not only that, but this card also allows you to bring your Banished monsters back to the field, letting you recycle cards you may desperately need. The fact that this isn’t even a one time use card, an especially powerful feature considering it is a Continuous Trap, simply puts it in a class of its own.

5Soul Resonator

Soul Resonator allows you to search for Level Four or lower Fiend monsters and add them to your hand. This is particularly useful in gathering your other Resonator monsters in order to pull off some Synchro Summons to stack your field.

Its protection qualities, however, are what makes it extremely useful. Should you choose to Banish this card from your Graveyard, you are able to save any on-field card that would have been destroyed by your opponent’s card effects. When the Deck is centred around combo plays to bring out your high level Synchro monsters, this effect could save you the Duel.

4Crimson Gaia

Crimson Gaia is one of seven Spell cards in this deck, andeasily the best Spell cardfrom it. you’re able to search for it using Vision Resonator, and you’ll be thankful when you do, as you’re able to then search for any card that mentions Red Dragon Archfiend and add it to your Hand from either your Deck or Graveyard.

That’s not even breaking the surface of how good this Continuous Spell card is, as its other effects are equally if not more powerful. When combined with Red Dragon Archfiend, Crimson Gaia’s ability to turn all your opponents cards into face down defence position means you’re able to easily wipe your opponent’s field with just a singular attack.

3Crimson Resonator

Crimson Resonator should be your go-to card at the start of the duel. Not only can you Special Summon it straight from your Hand while you have no other monsters on the field, it also serves an incredible purpose of being able to summon other Resonator monsters from your Hand or Deck.

This will allow you to summon your Synchro monsters a lot easier, and more importantly, earlier in the Duel. Because you will want to increase your chance of receiving it on your first turn, Crimson Resonator should be one of the cards you play a playset of to maximise that potential.

2Scar-Red Dragon Archfiend

Scar-Red Dragon Archfiend is a card that offers a solid level of protection while also being one of the most offence-driven cards in the Deck. When it’s sent from the field to the Graveyard, it replaces itself with a Red Dragon Archfiend, leaving you with a monster to defend yourself with.

However, when it does this, the summon is treated as aregular Synchro Summon. This allows you the option to get it back later if necessary. The added ability to completely wipe out all of your opponent’s attack position monsters only enhances this card’s usability, and it’ll be one you’ll be aiming to summon.

1Red Dragon Archfiend

It’s easy to say that without Red Dragon Archfiend this deck would simply not exist. Almost every card in this entire deck is built around making this card’s archetype the strongest it can possibly be. Boasting an impressive 3000 Attack puts it on par with the likes of a Blue Eyes White Dragon, meaning this card isn’t easily taken down by many things in the TCG.

Its own ability of being able to completely wipe out your opponents board of defence monsters is powerful in its own right, but with all the new support, it only becomes that much better. You’ll no doubt find yourself summoning this card over and over in your Duels on your path to victory.
