you’re able to also explore the beautiful game world at your own leisure and form relationships with the various NPCs. You can choose to go a step beyond that with certain characters in the game by going into a romantic relationship. That said, which one can you consider the best NPC in the game in terms of having a budding romance? Obviously, the answer is subjective, but a few certainly deliver a more memorable experience than others.
9Tamala
The sultry and mysterious Tamala can be found wandering in the forest near Bahari Bay. While she is certainly quite a looker, you will need to jump through several hoops just to be able to talk to her. Tamala loves silver ore and green pearls, so give those to her as a gift.
The townsfolk will also warn you to stay away from the enigmatic witch of the forest, which does make pursuing her affection quite interesting if you have an affinity for femme fatale types.

8Jel
Jel is a veritable fashionista and knows his way around fabrics and needles. He is the town’s tailor and certainly knows how to dress. He owns a tailor shop where you may buy clothes or fabric to craft your own set of debonair clothes.

That said, Jel’s personality might not gel well with yours, as he does initially act a bit snobbish. However, if you have an eye for fashion, then Jel is certainly a good fit for you romantically. Fortunately, Jel’s personality does mellow out once you get to know him better.
7Hassian
Hassian is a skilled hunter who often roams the forest alone, except for his loyal companion Tau, who is always beside him. Hassian is your brooding loner with a heart of gold, which is certainly something a lot of people will fall for. Hassian is also quite gruff, and this rather coarse personality might rub you the wrong way when you initially meet him.
However, if you do manage to thaw Hassian’s cold heart, he will be able to teach you a thing or two about his trade, such as giving you recipes to craft essential hunting tools such as arrows and even helping you upgrade your bows. He prefers gifts that youacquire through hunting, such as leather, meat, fur, or the scrumptious Akwinduu Chapaa dish.

6Jina
Jina is an apprentice scholar at Bahari Institute and is the one who will introduce you to the world and gameplay mechanics of Palia. She basically helps you learn the ropes during the tutorial section of the game.
Jina is the nerdy, cute girl who often gets lost in her research and studies. you may find her either with her nose buried in books at the library or digging up buried artifacts at excavation sites around Hekla. As for gifts, any type of mushroom will light up her eyes behind those huge glasses of hers. She will eventually open up more to you and even include you in heradventures of searching for long-lost artifacts.

5Reth
The older brother of Tish, Reth is your typical charming rogue and is also the resident chef of Palia. If you need any cooking done, Reth is your main man. While his sister is more into carpentry, Reth will be your main source of anything related to cooking, from recipes to blueprints of kitchen furniture.
They do say that the fastest way to a person’s heart is through their stomach. If that is true, then Reth certainly has access to the expressway. When it comes to gifts for Reth, food will be something that he will greatly appreciate.

4Einar
Einar is a golem, or in Palia’s lore, a Galdur. Galdurs are sentient robots that are said to embody Oneness – which is kind of the equivalent of finding nirvana in Buddhism. As a creature made of cold, hard steel, Einar has a nice warmth to him. He can be found in Fisherman’s Lagoon and, as you probably guessed, loves fishing.

Einar is rather stoic and silent, but get him to start talking about fishing, his pebble collection, and The Oneness, and you will find how much of a deep conversationalist he is. Give him captured fish and shiny pebbles as a gift, and you will slowly have this hunk of iron opening up more and more.
3Kenyatta
Kenyatta is the spunky daughter of the mayor of Kilima Village with an ironically rebellious spirit. You will first meet her working at the office, which she immediately lets you know she hates. She was also secretly in a relationship with Nai’o during your first meeting, but you may still shoot your shot with her if you love her fiery personality.
During the day, Kenyatta can be found in city hall. Once her shift is over, you can find her either at the stables or the library. Her tomboyish and rough personality is certainly part of her charm. To gain her affection, give her gifts like briar daisies, pearls, and creamy carrot soup.

2Nai’o
Think of Nai’o as the ‘dreamy prince charming’ type with an equally good soul. However, he does start as only having eyes for another character in the game, Kenyatta, who is also a romance option.
The whole love triangle storyline will certainly make vying for Nai’o’s affection spicier in the game. Nai’o is a farmer that you can find outside of town. As such, gifting him items related to his passion will help improve your relationship.

1Tish
Tish is absolutely set up as the preferred romance option in the game by developer Singularity 6 Corporation. She has a bubbly personality and is a genuinely kind-hearted person. Tish knows her way around a workbench and loves creatingfurniture and decorations for your home.
Her cottage-core fashion sense certainly adds to and complements her overall charm. She owns a furniture shop in town along with her brother, Reth, who is also a romanceable NPC in the game.
