Make It to the launch pad

Find the three downed ACs
Find the fourth downed AC

Destroy The Attack Helicopter
You aren’t being paid any extra for taking more enemy units out.So, keep your head down, and avoid drawing too much attention to yourself.Use the walls scattered throughout the stage to conceal yourself when possible.
170,000

Unlock the hanger
Eliminate the Enemy Squad
Eliminate the Backup Squad
The majority of these units are quite weak.Missile-firing shoulder armaments will serve you well.
There are a few shield-using MTs as well, sobring your Plasma Bladeas well.

68,000
Eliminate the Five Artillery Installations (9x)
Extra rewards based on number of enemies destroyed.
Your best bet is to approach from the trenchesand pop up once you have a clear shot at the given artillery you are angling for.
100,000

Destroy The Tester AC
Destroy the AC
This AC will swipe at you with its Plasma Blade. You can stay in the midrange, fire your ranged weapons at the AC,dodge their sword swipe by Quick Boosting away, and then zip in and hit the AC with your own Plasma Blade strike.
OurChapter 1 Battle Logs Guidegoes into more depth on this fight.
95,000
There is an optional Tetrapod-type AC you can battle.
The Tetrapod is a pretty tough foe early in the game.It likes to lunge forward with its Plasma Blade, so ensure you are either maintaining your distance or prepared to dash away.
80,000
Destroy all the generator facilities (4x)
Destroy the frontline MTs
You don’t have to fight the Tetrapod MT in the eastern corner of the map, or the AC that confronts you at the end of the mission. If you are looking to complete the mission and move on, you can just stick to the objectives. But you will need to fight them to get to collect their Battle Logs.
190,000
Approach the weaponized mining ship STRIDER
Destroy the STRIDER’s leg unit
Destroy all sub-generators (x4)
Destroy the Eye
Withdraw from the deck
If you stick close to the ship, you will find thatthere is always debris that you may get behind to shield yourself from the Eye.
270,000
New Parts Available in the shop
Destroy the city’s Gatling cannons and Tetrapod MT
Penetrate the wall and reach the top
330,000
Retrieve 5 combat logs (out of a potential 8)
You will only be required to engage with fairly weak MTs in this mission. So, focus more on having a speedy AC so that you’re able to cover more ground
There is an AC fight hidden by one of the Combat Logs in the crater. If you choose to fight her, consider brining your Plasma Blade.
10,000
Survey the Arsenal Interior
Annihilate Enemy Craft of Unknown Affiliation
Consult theInvestigate BAWS Arsenal No.2guide for a complete breakdown of this mission.
180,000
Head for Sector 3
Destroy the AC of Unknown Affiliation
You won’t be able to stay completely out of sight, so head directly for the squad and engage them in combat.Having a good long ranged weapon, like a cannon, will make taking out the turrets easier.
Sulla is a tough mech who likes to engage in close quarters combat. However,if you fight him near the perimeter of the stage he will often corner himself, which will let you hammer him with your best weapons.
The Balteus is best handled with the Plasma Rifle Vvc-760PR.This rifle will deal solid damage, even when Balteus hasn’t been staggered.
Consult theAttack The Watchpointguide for a complete breakdown of this mission.
380,000
Unlock new arena encounters (Rank E)
Reach center off Grid 086’s lower level
Destroy Autonomous Heavy Smart Cleaner
Check out our walkthrough for afull breakdown of Infiltrate Grid 086.
For the EC-0804 Smart Cleaner battle specifically, you can alsofollow this guide.
160,000
2C-3000 WRECKER
Eliminate the Coyotes MT Squad
None of the Coyotes are particularly tough, but they do make good use of homing missiles, so mobility will greatly assist you in avoiding damage.
You will fight four groups of Coyotes. Each group has one MT with homing missiles: take them out first.
65,000
Reach the center of Grid 086’s Upper Level
Destroy the C-Weapons Sea Spider
If you have something above you, then the enemy the OPC’s lasers will not be able to hit you.
All the bridges have struts underneath them that can act as platforms for your AC (which allow you to use the bridge as a shield).
The final area has a section covered by an enclosure, take advantage of it as well.
For the full step-by-step breakdown of the stage, consult our guide here.
The breakdown of the Sea Spider boss fight, on the other hand, can be found here.
Unlock new arena encounters (Rank D)
Retrieve Coral survey data collected by drones (4/4)
Intercept the PCA Enforcement Squad
The majority of this mission is relatively easy to work your way through, but the very end of the mission has an armored PCA AC. So,having a shotgun in the final encounter is pretty useful.Pair that with a sword to really tear through them.
Destroy the energy refinery plant
Destroy the PCA SP craft EKDROMOI
You will be going toe to toe with a number of extremely quick and resilient MTs, as well as a few ACs at the end of the mission.Being nimble will be extremely helpful.
Thoseheavy-hitting, slower weapons (cannons and launchers) will have a hard time making much of an impact here, so focus more on close-range weaponry, or middle-range assault weapons.Shotguns and Blades shine in this mission.
240,000
Reach The Second Destination
Eliminate V.VII Swinberg
Youcanbe seen, you just need to take that unit out quickly if they do spot you.Bring heavy-hitting weapons to help neutralize them quickly.
Swinberg is pretty quick, so, if you want to keep up with him, you will need faster AC. Homing weapons will also be extremely helpful(especially when paired with a good FCS for locking on).
200,000
Destroy the old device in the facility’s center
Escape the underground tunnel
This mission is a great candidate for lower caliber weapons, asmost of the enemies you will encounter are nimble, but weak.
You will be fighting large groups of enemies, so bring multi-lock missile launchers.
verify your AC build is built to fly.You will be ascending high up, and crossing over large gaps.
130,000
Shut down all ECM fog control devices (3)
Engage the hostile machines
Destroy the PCA enforcement squad
You will be fighting a number of pretty mobile units, so bringinga high mobility AC with machine guns will make this mission go smoother.
A blade-type weapon also works well in this mission.
During the final encounter, where you have to face off against the Attack Helicopter for a second time, listen to Ayre, andmake good use of the Xylem defense systems.
Defend the main RaD Missile
extra Additional rewards for defending sub-missiles
You won’t be facing off against particularly tough enemies here, but there will be a lot of them. So, when building your AC,emphasize building a speedy AC, having Missile Launchers that can lock onto multiple opponents, and strong mid-range rifles.
Hang out near the missiles. Don’t engage approaching enemies too far off, as that will allow units approaching from far off to sneak in and do serious damage.
The only exception to this rule is thata PCA Warship will arrive at the 1:15 mark. You absolutely need to make sure you get on top of it anddestroy it before it gets to the missiles.
Decision Mission
Destroy the PCA SP craft CATAPHRACT
Fight fire with fire and bring your own tank-type AC. This will allow you to bring your big gun and land the big shots right down the pike.
300,000
Eliminate the PCA Enforcement Squad
This battle will have you return to the same area where you engaged in the Wall Climber Mission, however, this time you will be facing multiple formidable squads of PCA MTs as well as a full-blown AC.You’ll want to have a mobile AC that is either equipped with assault rifles to fight in the mid-range, or shotguns and melee weapons to engage in the close range.Multilock missiles will also be useful.
Destroy all the berthed heavy warships
Prepare for enemy reinforcements
Intercept enemy reinforcements
Multilock missile attacks will be extremely useful for taking down each ship’s weaponry.Beyond that, these are slow moving ships, so your slower, heavy-hitting guns will work well for taking them out.
320,000
Reach center of Grid 012’s collapsed area
Defeat “Honest” Brute of the Coyotes
This battles will feature a number of MTs which will only fight back if you cross through a laser that is attached to them. While in this dormant state you will not be able to target these MTs, but you can still attack them. A blade will do the trick!
The boss of this stage is extremely dangerous at close range, as they have a flamethrower, but they are too fast to tag with slower long-range weaponry.Rifles should be your weapon of choice when engaging “Honest” Brute.
50,000
Defend The Old Spaceport
Kill Raven
Close range weaponry and mobile AC will help greatly in this encounter.
Destroy The Ice Worm
Destroy the C-Weapon ICE WORM
For a full breakdown on how to destroy the Ice Worm, read our guide here.
420,00
FCS :VE-21A
Reach the end of Depth 1
Destroy NEPENTHES military platform
You do not need any heavy artillery weapons during this mission.
A weapon capable of long range fire will be useful during the second half of the mission.
Mobility is overrated, take a high AP and high defense build instead.
250,000
Reach the end of Depth 2
Destroy the Autonomous Defense weapon ENFORCER
You will be squaring off against a particularly nimble AC during this stage, so ensure you have a mobile build that has the capability of taking out a nimble target. So, a lighter AC and weapons on your shoulder for locking on to a target.
The Enforcer, on the other hand, likes to lunge forward with big attacks, which leaves them open to weapons that hit hard but don’t track. Bazookas, grenade launchers, and cannons can take advantage of those lunging attacks.
Infiltrate the core of the Depth 3 reactor
Destroy the pressure chamber
Escape from the reactor core
The bulk of this mission will be spent taking out underpowered MTs. So,bring weapons best suited for clearing out large amounts of weaker enemies.
There will be an AC fight at the end of the stage. The space you fight them in will favor close range weapons like shotguns and blades. Most of their attacks are also easily evaded by a lighter AC.
Defeat V.V Hawkins/V.VIII Pater
Hawkins uses a Tetrapod AC, and will spend a great deal of the battle hovering, which makes it easy to take him out using heavy-hitting weapons.Take Hawkins out quickly, and you will be able to double-team Pater.
Defeat G1 Michigan and Balam’s main MT force
Michigan is another slow-moving AC.He isn’t great at dodging, so heavy weaponry will be his downfall.
400,000
Reach the heart of the unknown territory
Defeat V.IV Rusty
Rusty will engage you from the mid-range and close-range distances. His most damaging attack is his sword combo. Your best bet is to bait this attack, then dash out of range and unload a heavy weapon into him. Havingfully automatic rifles to clip him as he is zipping around is a great answer to his speedy build, so strap a cannon on your shoulder for those heavy hits.
260,000
Reach the coral convergence
Destroy the Ibis Series CEL 240
This mission will start with you battling two ACs. We found that a pair of shotguns mixed with homing missiles launchers on the shoulders was a good pair of weapons to bring to this fight
Afterward, you will find that there are a bunch of giant living cogs. These enemies can be skipped, but they are your battle logs for this mission. Just be careful when engaging, and leap on top of the nearby buildings if you need a breather.Heavier hitting weapons are best for taking them out.
The final boss here is a doozy. We found that engaging her with aTank lower body, dual shotguns and Stun Needle Launcherswas able to give us the most consistent results. You will need to pick your shots!
520,000
Reach the destination
Reach the rendezvous point
Annihilate the Arquebus MT squad
Outside of the “Annihilate the Arquebus MT squad” objective, there is no reward for destroying any of the enemy MTs. Don’t be afraid to run.Attempting to clear out every MT will see you run out of ammo and have to do A LOT of punching. And, once again, for absolutely no reward.
There is a Data Log near the exit, close to the Tetrapod MT.Use your jamming gun on the Tetrapod so that you’re able to scan the log and then make a run for it.
Take the Uninhabited Floating City
Defend Xylem’s control tower
This mission plays a lot like a tower defense game. Enemies will travel down one of the three lanes, and you need to intercept them.you’re able to hang out partway down the center lane and hop between lanes when necessary for the first two minutes, but then enemies will start coming out quicker than you will be able to take them out.
At one point a giant swarm of missiles will attack the tower, make sure you have good multi-lock weapons equipped so that you can intercept them.
385,000
Eliminate the assimilated corporate craft
Go to “Chatty” Stick’s rescue
Defeat V.I Freud
You will have to face off against the AA22: Heavy Cavalry / Arquebus Main Squad Member. This is a slower moving Bipedal AC, but watch out, asit hits quite hard and will constantly shield itself, helping to heavily mitigate the damage it takes.A fast moving AC with highly damaging weapons is a good counter.
After rescuing Chatty from the LCs, he will be destroyed by Freud. This is unavoidable.
V.I Freud is a highly mobile Bipedal AC who has fairly light weaponry. If you have fully automatic rifles equipped, you can quickly dismantle him. However, homing missiles to stagger him, followed by laying into him with heavy weaponry while he is staggered, is also a viable strategy.
440,000
Eliminate “Cinder” Carla
You will face off against V.II Snail in this mission before you head for Carla. He’s another slower big boy AC, so,swarming him with hard-hitting close range weaponry will do the trick nicely.
The final conflict will have you face Carla and Chatty. Both of their ACs are poorly equipped for hitting a fast-moving AC. However, they will fill the battlefield with missiles. So, an evasive AC works well here.
81,000
Destroy the Arquebus interceptor fleet
Destroy the Arquebus interceptor fleet in the sector ahead
Defeat Rusty
This mission will provide you with infinite boost, so take advantage of that andequip a booster which doesn’t have great capacity, but has excellent boost speeds!
470,000
Destroy all large Skyrmion generators (4/4)
Escape from the Drive Block
Defeat V.II Snail
You will face off against the Smart Cleaner again. The strategy here will stay more or less the same as in the first fight.
You will fight another version of Balteus here. Unlike the Smart Cleaner, this version has new attacks. While this version of Balteus hits harder, they also have much easier to dodge attacks. Moreover, they are less evasive, and more susceptible to heavy fire from slower weapons.
630,000
A Route Ending
Defeat Ayre
This mission is a boss fight against IB-07: SOL 544 / Ayre.Check out our guide here.
550,000
Destroy the ramjet engines
Defeat Handler Walter
IB-C03: HAL 826 / Handler Walter will be your final fight here.He pilots a Bipedal AC with some hard-hitting energy weapons.
Walter is pretty hard to pin down, so you will probably want tobring fully automatic weapons to stun him, with heavier-hitting stuff on your shouldersfor dealing damage while he is staggered.
