Quick Links
InRemnant 2, you’ll discover various Quest Items when you progress through the game. Sometimes, it’s simple to determine where to use them, particularly if they’re connected to the main story. However, there are instances where it’s unclear where these items should be used. This is because the game deliberately avoids providing hints to encourage you to solve things on your own.

One example of these Quest Items is the Crimson King Coin. While its name might suggest a link to royalty, you’re left unsure about the specific person or location it pertains to. Here’s everything you need to know.
What Are Crimson King Coins?
While exploringLosomn, you might stumble upon a place called theGilded Chambers. In this location, you’ll encounterthe Red Princeat its end. He won’t be hostile when you meet him for the first time. Instead, he’llask for a tribute.
To fulfill this request, you’ll need to finda Quest Item called the Crimson King Coin. This coin can be obtained by defeating a specific enemy known as theTeleport Fae.

If you decide to pay tribute and avoid a challenging boss fight, offer the Red Prince three Crimson King Coins.
How To Get More Crimson King Coins
While having a single Crimson King Coin won’t serve much purpose, you’ll need to get your hands onthree coinsbydefeating the Teleport Fae enemy. The Teleport Fae doesn’t spawn every time, so you’ll have to search for it.
Fortunately, you may come acrossthree Elite enemiesinthe Glided Chamber, and the Teleport Fae is considered one of them.

The steps are straightforward: start byresting at the checkpoint, then explore the dungeon anddefeat all the Elite enemies. If you don’t come across the Teleport Fae, you may either kill yourself orreturn to the checkpointto reset the dungeon.
Remember, each run gives you a chance to encounteronly one Teleport Fae Elite enemy. If you encounter it as your first Elite enemy, you can safely rest at the checkpoint and repeat the process again.

For a quicker dungeon reset while farming, use the Liquid Escape item.
How To Use Crimson King Coins
Once you’ve collected three Crimson King Coins, head to the Red Prince location and select the “Sure, here is your tribute [Give Coins]” option.
This action will trigger a cutscene where the Red Prince expresses his gratitude. However, there’s a twist;he’ll summon fiery minions that will kill you.

You might be left wondering about your reward, but don’t worry. After you respawn, check your inventory to find theBloody Steel Splinterwaiting for you.
If you take this crafting material to McCabe in Ward 13, you can obtain theBlood Draw weapon Mod.

If you give the Red Princeanything less than three Crimson King Coins, he will perceive it as an insult and will engage with you in a fight immediately.
