InSilent Hope, you’ll have the help of seven unique heroes as you work to unravel the mysteries of the quiet kingdom. Each of these seven heroes emerged as a light from the expansive Abyss, tasked with returning the voices to its lost subjects.

All seven of Silent Hope’s heroes have a different combat specialty, meaning there’s a fighting style for everyone in this charming isometric RPG. Whether you’re a ranged fighter or you prefer your combat up-close and personal, here’s a look at all seven heroes and the individual skills and combat specialties of each one in Silent Hope.

There Are Seven Heroes With Different Skill Sets

In Silent Hope, the Princess tells you about the seven lights she saw ascend from the Abyss, which turn out to be theseven individual heroesyou’ll play as for the rest of the game.

Thougheach hero works together toward the game’s goal, every one of the heroes has theirown combat style, covering everything from melee to ranged or physical to magic.

However, with different specialties leading tounique stats for each hero, you’ll quickly find favorites among the group. For each stat a hero has that’s lower than average, they’ll make up with it with a different stat that’s above average.

Stats can be tweaked in any number of ways - equipment, accessories, class, Magistones, etc. - for a temporary period, but be sure tocheck your heroes' statsbefore bringing them into battle.

Wanderer

Labeled as being agood all-around choicewith a fairlylevel offense and defense, the Wanderer is the character who takes over a workshop when other heroes are in battle. They fight with asword and shield.

Thoughnot particularly powerful, evasive, or good at landing crits, the Wanderer certainly redeems himself with ahigh base HP and decent defense.

Shield Throw

Throw your shield at enemies. It will track them and reappear at your side after two hits.

Shield Counter

Put up your shield and reduce damage received. If hit, you’ll automatically counterattack.

Temporarily increase attack power and regain HP depending on damage dealt.

Rogue

One of thefaster heroesat your disposal, the Rogue is afast-movinggirl who attacks foes up close usingdual blades.

Though her actualpower and defense are somewhat low, she more than makes up for this withplenty of HPto complement herhigh crit and evasionstats.

Quick Strike

Rush the enemy, temporarily increasing your evasion depending on the number of hits landed.

Ring of Daggers

Throw knives in a circle around you. Your attacks temporarily deal more damage to any enemies hit.

Dancing Blades

Temporarily summon two swords centered on yourself that damage enemies as they spin around you.

Sneak Attack

Instantly close the distance to attack an enemy and land a crit hit.

Attack Stance

Temporarily turn your dodge into an attack, which temporarily deal more damage to any enemies hit.

One with the Shadows

Turn invisible, temporarily increasing your movement speed. Attacking in this state dispels the invisibility but guarantees a crit hit.

Kunai

Hurl a dagger in front of you, potentially inflicting a status ailment related to your weapon’s element.

Shadow Veil

Normal attacks temporarily gain an automatic follow-up attack that restores your HP.

Melee

After becoming theTricksterat Level 15, her final form, theNinja, haslowered HP, defense, and magic resistancein exchange forincreased power, crit, and evasion.

Warrior

An example ofbrute forceif ever your hero team needed one, the Warrior attacks foes withtwo-handed swordsthat render her a bit slower to attack, but more powerful when she does.

WIth acolossal HP poolcomplemented bygreat power stat, the Warrior is a bitweaker in magic resistance, crit, and evasion.

Charge and scatter any enemies in your path.

Fell Swoop

Unleash a brutal attack in front of you that sends enemies flying.

Howl

Temporarily stun enemies around you while also increasing the damage dealt.

Whirlpool

Spin your weapon to pull enemies in and deal multiple hits before stunning them.

Cyclone

Spin to create a cyclone in front of you that pulls in and damages enemies around it.

Earthwave

Drive your weapon into the ground to release a shockwave that stuns and damages all foes within its area of impact, followed by another shockwave.

Battle Aura

Temporarily increase attack speed, and regain HP with every hit you land.

Though herHP and power increaseas she changes classes, she does face adecrease in defense, magic resistance, and critsupon changing. ThePaladinclass is available at Level 15, whileBerserkerunlocks after the final battle.

Archer

An exclusivelyranged fighterwhosebow and endless supply of arrowskeep them safe from afar, the Archer is great for instances where contact with enemies is dangerous.

Though theirHP, defense, and magic resistance are lowerthan other heroes, they havegood power, crit, and evasionto counterbalance.

Spread Shot

Jump backward while firing a fan of five arrows in front of you.

Bear Trap

Set a trap that triggers on enemy contact, reducing their movement speed and increasing damage taken.

Shoot a bomb arrow that knocks back and stuns enemies.

Bomb Rain

Rain down three bomb arrows in front of you, causing knockback and stunning enemies.

Smoke Grenade

Shoot an arrow that releases smoke upon impact, reducing enemy accuracy.

Bullseye

Fire an arrow with a high chance to crit. May instantly defeat weaker enemies.

Fire three arrows that track enemies and cause Fear.

Ranged

All their skills are increasedwhen they become aBomberat Level 15. The move toSharpshooterafter finishing the gameincreases magic resistance, crit, and evasionwhile it alsolowers HP, power, and defense.

Farmer

Though definitely one of thephysically weaker heroes, the Farmer’s use comes predominantly in her intriguingskillsrather than from herpitchforkor other spear-like object.

Though hermagic resistance and evasionare pretty good, herHP, power, defense, and crit are all lowerthan the other heroes.

Outta My Way!

Charge with your spear, scattering and stunning any enemies in your path.

Butterfly Buddy!

Summon a butterfly that travels in a straight line, poisoning and confusing any enemy it touches.

Harvest and eat a vegetable to trigger a random effect.

Get Lost!

Unleash a series of rapid attacks in a cone before you.

Kaboom!

Jump up and hurl your weapon to the ground, causing a shockwave that stuns enemies.

Oh, Worm!

Summon a wiggly friend that draws in monsters with a magic field and damages them.

Tectonic Tantrum!

Stab your weapon into the earth to release a shockwave centered on you that knocks back enemes.

After all stats increase as she changes to theRangerbeginning at Level 15, she becomes a much more specializedGeomancerafter the game, with alowered HP, power, and evasionthat counterbalance aboosted defense, magic resistance, and crit ratethan before.

Fighter

A melee fighter who prefers to settle things with herfists, the Fighter is apowerful melee fighterwhose strength is her strong suit.

With ahigh power and crit rate, the fighter and her raw strength lack a bit withlower HP, defense, and evasionthan other heroes.

Launch a weapon to stun and pull enemies toward you.

Temporarily increases your movement and attack speed.

Hurricane Punch

Spin while unleashing a punch as powerful as a great typhoon.

Battle Veil

Gain temporary invincibility. If you take a hit, you’ll briefly stun and do more damage to enemies around you.

Rush

Dash forward and stun enemies with a rapid series of attacks.

Encircle

Create a special field centered around you. Stand within it to increase your attack power and restore HP after defeating enemies.

TheBattle Masteris her Level 15 class change that brings an all-around stat boost. On changing to theDestroyerafter the game, she enjoysimproved HP, power, and critstats at the expense oflowered defense, magic resistance, and evasion.

Caster

Whilenot the most powerfulof the seven in terms of sheer might, the Caster is aranged fighterwho exclusively dealsmagic damageinstead of physical bycasting spells.

Outside alow HP, he’s gotgreat defense and magic resistance, despitenot being very physically strong. Rely on his skills to output higher damage.

Magic Sphere

Release a slow-moving magical orb that disappears after dealing five hits.

Black Hole

Create a gravity field that draws in enemies and increases the damage they take.

Impact

Cast a magical explosion centered on yourself, stunning enemies around you.

Satellite

Summon two magical orbs that circle an axis centered on your original position.

Summon Crusher

Summon two shadow familiars that pound the ground in front of you, stunning enemies.

At Level 15, he’ll be able to change into aSage, and from there, he’ll be able to be aSummonerafter the story finishes, who receives alowered HP, defense, and critin exchange forboosted power, magic resistance, and evasion.
