The Sims 4: Home Chef Hustle is a stuff pack that focuses on food. However, unlike the cool kitchen pack that just looks at your kitchen, Home Chef Hustle includes new appliances, a wide range of recipes and even a stall to sell your wares from.
This stuff pack is stuffed with a wide range of complimentary items that are perfect for creating a European inspired home kitchen, as well as starting a new enterprise. Here’s everything you’ll find in The Sims 4: Home Chef Hustle.
12A Range of Counters
There are 11 swatches for the new range of counters and the style is unlike anything else in the game. Different pieces include nooks you’re able to place small items in, and some come with items already inside.
The end counters also have the worktop extend right down the side for a nice clean look we’ve only seen before on a couple of other counters. These designs are sleek and fit well into most houses.
11Matching Kitchen Islands
The kitchen islands are perfectly matching in both design and swatches. There are circular edged and square edged options, and they mix seamlessly with the regular counters.
It’s easy to create a flawless combination of counters and islands, as well as breakfast bars. No matter the size of the kitchen the units will fit well and look great.
10Assorted Wall Cabinets
The wall cabinets are different to most others since the corner cabinet is shelving, meaning it doesn’t match together easily with the other options. However, it does lend itself to different ways to create wall cabinets.
The modern touch and vibrant swatches help these cabinets stand out and the inbuilt lighting is a nice touch to create a well lit kitchen area.
9Wall Shelves
The corner wall shelves may not match the others that use the counter swatches, but there are extra shelves that go with them, so you may create longer shelving units.
The corner shelves have clutter on them, but the regular shelves just have two to three slot, depending on the size of the clutter you add. This gives more flexibility when designing your space.
8Three Unique Small Appliances
One of the pack’s main selling points, the small appliances help your Sims create a range of new recipes. The stand mixer helps you prepare ingredients to increase the quality of your baking, as well as your waffles and pizzas.
The waffle maker comes with 11 unique recipes to learn, while the Pizza Oven comes with 17. Both appliances can also be used off the grid and are portable, meaning you can take them with you wherever you go.
7Matching Large Appliances
If you are fed up with appliances not matching then this pack solves the issue. Included are an assortment of fridges, cookers and cooker hoods which perfectly match the kitchen units. They also match the small appliances.
Now everything in your kitchen perfectly compliments each other and the more neutral colours will also match well with other units, tiles and flooring.
6Sinks and Slimline Dishwashers
The slimline dishwasher is a new addition to appliances and these neutral swatches mean you’ll find one to perfectly fit in any kitchen you build.
There are also several sinks with a small drainage area and unique design that matches both the dishwashers and the larger appliances. As we’re already mentioned, matching swatches are a core part of this pack.
5Complimentary Tiling
These tiles are simple but they work well. The patterned tile bases avoid being overwhelming by being paired with the plain top. The plain colors also match to regular plain swatches in the game.
The only complaint here is that it would have been nice to have options with higher tiles as well, similar to Jungle Adventure, where the tile swatches have three heights of tiles.
4Matching Flooring
The flooring options are more limited, but these simple tiles are versatile enough to be used in many different places. The range of neutral and pastel options matches with the plain parts of the wall tiles from the pack, and provides a good selection.
You could easily use these tiles in any other area of the house without them looking out of place. Simple and stylish they are one of the most versatile items in the pack.
3Hanging Shelves and Dish Drainers
These two other types of wall decoration cover a couple of niches. The first is the dish drainer. This wall mounted version includes spaces for plates to dry and reflects many European kitchens. Place it by the sink to add a unique touch.
Secondly there are three heights of ceiling mounted shelving, each with lighting underneath. While they are designed to reflect the ceiling height you can choose to place them over each other with the move objects cheat, making a tall shelving unit.
