Hearthstone’supcoming expansion Showdown In The Badlands releases on July 16, 2025 - ahead of its launch, we can exclusively reveal four new cards from the set:Benevolent Banker, Injured Hauler, Posse Possession, andTram Heist.
All four cards are from the Priest package and include some of the new mechanics introduced with Showdown In The Badlands, including Quickdraw. It’s clear from these cards that the theme of stealing cards and reusing them is going to be prevalent throughout the set - expect a lot of disruption and tech cards.

Benevolent Banker
The Benevolent Banker is a useful disruption card that comes with the brand-new Quickdraw mechanic. Quickdraw is activated if you play the card the turn it enters your hand, whether that be through natural draw or through card draw mechanics.
You’ll want to toss this card during the mulligan phase, and if you happen to draw it on turn 3 it’s a decent card if a little slow. However, even if drawn later, it provides value throughout the game allowing you to make tech decisions as the game progresses.

The Banker draws a spell from your opponent’s deck, serving as a good tech card against spell heavy decks.
Injured Hauler
The Injured Hauler is a decent tempo card with the potential to become a powerful control card if left on the board for too long.
The Overheal is a little hard to activate, but it does put pressure on your opponent to remove this card swiftly. If you can’t manage to replenish this card beyond seven health for the Overheal, you are just playing a 3/3 without an effect, which obviously isn’t great.

Posse Possession
Posse Possession is a fun card that can really change the tempo of a battle. It works especially well against slow decks, and if your opponent is using a Titan card you can summon it for a big power swing.
This card has a specific use and even then, fairly random results, but it’s the sort of card that might just end the game on turn 4.

Tram Heist
Tram Heist is a very interesting card as it provides a lot of flexibility. While 4 mana might be a bit steep to exchange for one or two cards, that obviously depends on the power of the cards your opponent has just played.
Against decks that like to play a lot of cards in a single turn - something like Miracle Rogue - Tram Heist can provide a lot of value.

It will be interesting to see how these cards fit into the existing Priest meta.
