Pokemon Gois hosting theGlittering Garden Event, centered around different Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon currently in the game. These Pokemon featured for this event will be those appearing in Pokemon Go Fest 2023: Osaka and London.

This event will take place over four days, availablefrom Saturday, August 5, at 10 am local time to Tuesday, August 8, at 8 pm local time.With this being such a short event window, there is still a lot you’ll want to take advantage of, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with all you need to know to do just that.

Event Wild Encounter Pokemon

Like other events offered in the past, there will be specific Pokemon that will have anincreased likelihood of spawning in the wild.For the Glittering Garden Event, this includes a variety of Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon, each being a part of the in-person Pokemon Go Fest 2023: London and Osaka spawn pool.

This will be the first time thatShiny Petililwill be available in Pokemon Go.

In addition to the Pokemon above appearing more frequently everywhere during this event, there will be a different Pokemon each day that will have theirspawn rate increased in parks specifically.

Event Research

Field Research Task Encounters

You can collect differentEvent Field Research Tasksfrom visiting and spinning PokeStop Photo Discs during the Glittering Garden Event. Those that reward you with Pokemon encounters for their completion will provide you with a chance to catch one of the four Pokemon listed below.

Event Timed Research

There will befree Event Timed Researchavailable to all players who log in and play Pokemon Go during this event window. The tasks for this Event Timed Research will mainly pertain to hatching Eggs and exploring in Pokemon Go.

All tasks must be completed and rewards must be claimedbefore the end of the Glittering Garden Event.

Event Egg Pokemon

There will be a change in the Pokemon that can be hatched from2 km Eggsacquired during this event window. Make sure to collect and hatch this specific type of Egg for a chance to acquire the following six Pokemon.
