Adventure RPG games are all about building the strongest characters to easily clear all the challenges that lie ahead of you. In this regard,Honkai: Star Railis no different. The game’s turn-based combat style makes it lean quite heavily into strategy, making stats a critical part of the gameplay.

Star Rail is designed to continuously increase in difficulty as you play and gain experience. So, chances are you will find yourself needing constant stat boosts to keep up. What Are Relics In Honkai Star Rail?

Relics areitems that you can equip on your characterto give them aboost in their stats. While character ascension and having good light cones equipped are extremely important points in building strong characters, themajority of a unit’s statswill always stem from the relics they use.

Star Rail’s Relic systemis designed so that characters utilizesix different pieces of equipmentto be able to reach their full potential.

Relics come indifferent levels of rarity, ranging from two to five stars. They also havea variety of stats and sub-statsthat make for infinite combinations in functionality. Themax level of a Relic piece, as well as the amount of sub-stats it may have, are dictated by its rarity.

Similarly, themain stat you may roll on a Relic piece will depend on its type, while sub-stats remain the same for all Relics, butcannot be the same as the main stat:

What Are All The Relic Sets?

Star Rail relics come in sets.Regular Relic sets are made up of four pieces(Head, Hands, Body, Feet), whilePlanar sets require two(Sphere and Rope).
