Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
WHERE TO PLAY
Horizon Forbidden West’s base game and its Burning Shores DLC are all a part of the same game in this, the sequel’s Complete Edition. A PlayStation 5 exclusive that will also launch on PC in 2024.
Even though Guerilla has revealed it has a lot of plans for the future of Horizon, it hasn’t revealed what any of those plans are going to be. It’s entirely possible the Complete Edition’s release was one of those 16 projects. Its arrival onPCmight be an entirely separate one too. On top of the news that Forbidden West will be getting a complete edition, it was also confirmed the complete version of the sequel will launch on PC in early 2024, joining a number of other PlayStation exclusives includingZero Dawn.
Outside of the video game sphere, we do know Horizon is getting a TV adaptation. In development atNetflix, very little about the project is known at present. We do know thatUmbrella Academy’s Steve Blackman is working on the show, and with confirmation that the show’s next season, coming in 2024, will be its last, perhaps that means all of Blackman’s focus can shift to the Horizon adaptation after that.
