It’s easy to overlook this retched land. However, there are many treasure troves stowed away, just waiting to be plucked by an adventurer.
The Reithwin Tollhouse found in the Shadow-Cursed Lands opposite Moonrise Tower contains the Seized Inventory Room and Cellar filled with hidden treasure. However, accessing these rooms is a challenging task. Gerringothe Thorm, a foul undead with an unhealthy obsession with gold, guards the tollhouse.

Where Is The Seized Inventory Room In The Reithwin Tollhouse?
The Reithwin Tollhouse Seized Inventory Room is found on thesecond floor of the Tollhouseand ismarked by a plaqueandblocked by Shadow-Cursed Vines.
Before we go any further,it’s recommended that youdefeat Gerringothe Thorm, a mini-boss and undead owner of the Reithwin Tollhouse.
How To Loot The Reithwin Tollhouse’s Seized Inventory
You will likely be unable to break through theShadow-Cursed Vinesthat block the entrance to the room.
The Shadow-Cursed Vines have160 healthand have theMedium Toughness condition, meaning that only an attack that deals at least 22 damage will damage the vines!
Not to mention, the Shadow-Cursed Vines areresistant to a range of attacks:
Therefore,you’ll unlikely be able to cut down these vines on your first visitto the Shadow-Cursed Lands.
There are twoalternate waysof accessing the Seized Inventory Room.
How To Enter The Seized Inventory Room From The Roof
To enter the Seized Inventory Room,climb up the nearby ladder to access the roof.If you’re successful at completing a Perception check, you’ll discover that thewooden beams on the roof above the inventory room have rotted.
Casting a simpleprojectile spell on the rotted roofwill cause it to collapse. We adviseusingFeather Fallto negate any damage from the drop. Alternatively, you could use ateleportation spellsuch asMisty Stepto teleport into the room.
It’s recommended that youdrop one character into the room that can teleport back out.This is because other characters that can’t teleport will take fall damage from the drop into the Seized Inventory Room and from jumping out of the window.
How To Enter The Seized Inventory Room From The Window
Position your partyoutside the Reithwin Tollhouseto the west, and useMisty Stepto enter the Seized Inventory Room through the broken window.
verify that you haveenough spell slots to be able to teleport back.Otherwise, complete a Short Rest or Long Rest at camp.
This method is ideal for those who want toavoid fighting Gerringothe Thormin the tollhouse.

If you have a Thieves Tool Kit in your inventory, you canunlock the Heavy Chestto reveal theFireheartnecklace. This Uncommon necklace bestows theFervent Flameson the wearer. A buff that generates +2 Heat when the wearer is struck by Fire damage.
