Starfieldhas thousands of planets and moons to explore, and yet every player, including you, will land on the remote, dusty moon of Kreet. Don’t mistake Kreet for Crete; you won’t find any Greek white sand beaches or beautiful blue lagoons. Instead, you’ll find strange alien fauna and flora and valuable resources.

Starfield: Kreet Grazer

Everything that you need to scan will behighlighted in blue;completing a scan will turn the creature or object green. Remember that you willneed to scan items several timesto complete it.

You’ll visit Kreet during thesecond-story mission,One Small Step. Where you have to wipe out theCrimson Fleet Pirates from an abandoned research lab, you can find all three fauna creatures in this area;

Starfield: Kreet Stalker

Be careful, as your scanner will be limited to a measlyten-meter rangeuntil you are able toupgrade the Scanner skillin the skill tree.

Although the scanner states that there are only three different kinds of fauna on Kreet, you’re able to actually find numerous others, such asHeatleeches,Xenogrubs, and the ruthlessTerrormorph! An apex alien predator. However, you won’t need to scan them to complete the survey.

Starfield: Trilobite

Volcanic

Mountains

The Kreet Grazer is aherbivore, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. These creatures roam in herds and will attack if you get too close. They will make a hissing sound to warn you to back off before charging you.

Kreet Grazers areweak to energy weapons, but let them get too close, and they willdrain your O2 with every attack.

Starfield: Dust Root

Arguably the most interesting creature living on Kreet. These giant lobster-like crustaceans aredefensive in natureand will attack you if you get too close to them.

Kreet Stalkers burrow underground, much like the Radscorpions of the Fallout series. They can often be found hunting Kreet Grazers.

Starfield: Nebula Vine

We learn in the UC abandoned Kreet Research Facility that Stalkers were brought to Kreet whenXenobiology scientists conducted experiments on alien creaturesin an attempt to weaponize them for war.

Finding Resources On Kreet

You canspeed up the process of scanning and harvesting resources by using the star mapto identify which areas are abundant in specific resources. To do this, select theShow Resourcesfeature while viewing a planet or moon. Then, use the chart on the leftto find your desired resource.

Remember that some resources are rarer than others; therefore, you may need tozoom in on the planet or moon to find the areas with the resources you want.

Starfield: Frost Reed

Scanning resources works a bit differently than flora and fauna, as although there are eight kinds of resources found on Kreet, you will only need to scan each resource once to add it to the survey:

You’ll automatically discover Helium-3 (He-3)when you land on Kreet, and you can harvest Argon, Neon, and Alkanes by walking up to the gas vent and simply taking it.

Once you’ve scanned every scannable item in a biome, the biome will be marked as 100 percent complete.

How To Discover Kreet’s Planetary Trait

Starfield: Eroded Reef Outcropping

you’re able to find this arching rocky but natural feature bywalking towards the Natural point of interest marked on the map. Since these are procedurally generated features, we can’t give you the exact location of the reef. However, we found the reef in theFrozen Volcanic biome.
