FortniteChapter 4 Season 4, The Last Resort, introduces Kado Thorn, a nefarious vampire, collector, and some say, time traveler who is draining the island’s resources. He’s taken over the Slap Juice Factory, Rumble Ruins, a tower in Mega City, and built three new points of interest: Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate.

Each of Thorn’s properties features a well-protected vault filled with Mythic items from previous Fortnite seasons. These are defended by a host of security guards, cameras, hostile turrets, laser grids, and formidable bosses. We show you how to steal his ill-gotten gains for yourself.
What Are The Three Resorts?
TheSanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estateare opulent, affluent, and perilous. Each one boasts a premium location, luxurious suites, breathtaking views, and locked vaults.
Each of Kado Thorn’s lavish resorts is surrounded by heavy security to guard the Mythic lootthat he has stashed in these vaults.
Once inside a vault,prioritize searching through chests and ammo boxes before liberating a Mythic itemfrom its case. Doing so before taking the item willprevent triggering alarms and summoning securityuntil you’re fully prepared to make your escape.
How To Heist The Sanguine Suites
How To Enter Sanguine Suites
There areseveral ways to access this location. For example, enter the complex from theSouth sidethrough a walled enclosure containing aLaunch Pad. Once inside, locate theventilation shaft in the wall.
Turn rightand cautiously check for guards at the shaft’s exit before proceeding. You’ll find yourself in a room where you should spot someChests and Ammo Boxes. Load up on weapons and shields for the next phase of this heist.
Where To Find The Diamonds Dealer
When you’re geared up and ready,head down the stairs located on either side of the room. Either stairwell will take you to the landing below, butif you take the right side, you will likely find aHeist Baglying on a couch which might come in handy.
There areglass windows on the landingthat overlook the outer vault room below, andanother stairwell with a hostile turret at the bottomscanning the area in front of the outer vault room entrance.
TheDiamonds Dealer High Card NPCpatrols and protects this outer vault room.
How To Get Past The Diamonds Dealer
Firstdestroy the turret gun at the bottom of the stairs.The easiest method is to useRemote Explosivesor aRocket Ram. Once you’ve cleared the path through the entrance, you canbegin your assault on the Diamonds Dealer.
While you’re engaged in battlebe aware of the security cameras.If they are triggered,reinforcements will arrive, so you will want totake them out ASAPto minimize the combatants you will be fighting.
After defeating theDiamonds Dealer, you will be rewarded with hisMythic Thermal DMRand hisVault Keycard.
How To Get Into The Sanguine Suites Vault
After defeating the Diamonds Dealer,take theKeycardanddescend the stairwell with theLaser Grid.
The Gridconsistently changes configurationto let you pass through each of the three laser segments until you’re in the innerVaultchamber, where you canopen theVaultwith your heistedKeycard.
There are several ways to get to the Eclipsed Estate.
The West Door
Approach from the westto finda dooron the ground level situatedbetween swimming pools on the left and a wall on the right.Upon entering the door, you’ll noticea security camera on the left,alongside a stairwell slightly beyond it.
On theright side, there’sanother stairwell accompanied by a utility closetimmediately past the stairwell.Avoid descending the stairwell on the right. If you’re armed, insteadeliminate the security camera on the left. If you lack a weapon, you can take refuge in the utility closet on the right to equip yourself.
Descend the stairwell next to the security camera for four levelsuntil you reach a landing that provides an overview of your objective. Thisvantage pointallows for reconnaissance on the area below, whereyour target Kado Thorn, along with hisVault Keycard, awaits.
The Tunnel
Under the bridge between the entrance and the main complex,there’s atunnelthat leads to a damaged wall with aHeist Bagsitting on the ground below, and alocked door directly to the right. There’s asecurity cameracovering the wall and the door, so you will need to get to theHeist Bagand neutralize the security camera as soon as possible.
If youdon’t have a key handy, you’ll have to destroy the wall,ideally withRemote ExplosivesorRocket Ramfound in theHeist Bag.
If you use Remote Explosives to breach the wall, you will be confronted with a laser grid, which you will have to navigate while under fire.
However, if you use the Rocket Ram, the laser grid will not be much of a factor as you will blow right through it.
How To Get To Kado
Expect to encountertwo hostile turrets in the vault chamber.Beware that turret scanners can easily detect your presence if you are in view, soexercise stealthduring your observations.
If you dogo through the wall, Kado and at least one turret will be gunning for you straight away,so if you want to slow things down and get control of your assault, you’ll find thestairwell on the right side wall to provide cover.
You’ll be out of range of any turret that might be scanning your direction, but be aware thatKado is still capable of attacking you.
How To Defeat Kado
It’s advisable toneutralize the hostile turrets first, followed by the security cameras. While Remote Explosives present the most efficient means, a Business Turret serves as a useful diversion while you either shoot or utilize a Rocket Ram to disable the turret.
In a worst-case scenario,evading a turret’s firing range by running a tight circle around itwhile simultaneously attacking it with available weaponry or a pickaxe is an option; however, this approach can prove challenging when contending with Kado and an additional turret firing on you.
After defeating Kado Thorn, you will be rewarded with hisMythic Scoped Burst SMG and his Vault Keycard.
How To Get Into The Eclipsed Estate Vault
After defeating theKado Thorn, take theKeycardand unlock theVault. If you happen to have aBusiness Turret, through it in front of theVaultdoor to watch your back while you relieveKadoof his valuables.
How To Heist The Relentless Retreat
How To Get Into The Relentless Retreat
There are a few ways to get to theRelentless retreat.For example: enter the lobby on the South side of the main foyerin the center of the complex.Weapons will be scattered around the room, but there will also be guards patrolling the area, so you need to exercise caution and stealth.
After you’ve gathered some gear,head down the stairs located on the East sideand through the double doors to the room below.
There may be moregear beneath the statues in this room, so take advantage of what you can and carefullyproceed down the next flight of stairslocated on either side of the double doors you just came through.
There’s alanding belowwith a statue and aHeist Bagin front of it. Stay alert becauseguards patrol the area below the landing, and they can see you descending the stairs.
How To Get To The Hearts Dealer
The room below is anantechamber of the vault room,which is in another roomdown a set of stairs to the left.There are twosecurity cameras on the walls of the antechamber;take note of any guards in the room and neutralize the cameras without being noticed.
TheHearts Dealer High Card NPCpatrols thebottom level of the vault room, and his guards roam. You’ll want to know if there are any in the antechamber before you head into the vault room.
How To Defeat The Hearts Dealer
Anupper tier surrounds the vault room and is accessible from the antechamber.To avoid direct confrontation with theHearts Dealerand his henchmen,hug the wall to your right or left when entering the vault room.
You canfollow the wall of the upper tier all the way to the end of the vault roomwhere there’s astairwell that leads to the lower level,generally placing youbehind theHearts Dealer.
This is agreat vantage point to launch your attack,There are twosecurity cameras overlooking the stairwellson either side of the upper tiers, and it’s a good idea toneutralize them before you attack.
Also, keep an eye on thesecurity patrolling the upper tier and the lower levelto ensure you remain undetected until you are ready to launch your assault. After defeating theHearts Dealer, you will be rewarded with hisMythic Havoc Suppressed Rifleand hisVault Keycard.
How To Get Into The Relentless Retreat Vault
After defeating theHearts Dealer, take theKeycardand carefullypass through the Laser Grid. The Grid consistentlychanges configurationto let you pass through each of the three laser segments until you’rein the inner Vault chamberwhere you can open the vault with your heistedKeycard.
