You can find the Custom Basement Tool in the“Walls and Empty Rooms”as well. It pretty much works the same as the normal Basement Tool, but it has all player’s favorite option: customization. You can create the shape you want for your basements with this tool and get as creative as you’d like.
How To Add Underground Spaces
With both the Basement Tool and the Custom Basement Tool, you’re able to create abasement with no ceilingand have beautiful, unique underground spaces. You canturn these spaces into gardens, patios, or just an area for your Sim to do anything. The possibilities are endless!
First, use any of the basement tools to create a basement separate from your Sim’s home. After that, you must go above it andselect the space. You’ll see ayellow lineonce you do so, click it todelete the basement’s ceiling.Ta-da! Now you can see the basement even from above.
