Frustrated Blows - Ranged

Arm Sweeps

Victor will hold up both of his hands in fists shaking near his face and roar with clear frustration. He will then begin swinging his arms in wide arcs in front of him, starting with his right arm. In this combo, Victor only sweeps twice.

Champion Victor charges forward as P dashes around him to the right in Lies of P

Frustrated Blows - Melee

The same as above, but Victor continues his sweeping attacks four times instead of two and is not preceded by his yell.

Stay away from the initial punches and then sprint forward to strike once after his gut punch.

Victor finishes his new Champion’s Fury Phase Two move with a right swing in Lies of P

Gut Punch

Victor pulls his right fist back and delivers a low punch at short range.

Frustrated Blows - Alternate Melee

Arm Sweeps - Backhand Variation

The same as the melee variation, but Victor’s right arm will go upward over his shoulder instead of horizontal across his torso.

Stay away from this attack by sprinting away.

Backhanded Strike (and Fury Variation)

With Victor’s hand over his shoulder, he’ll bring his hand down once for a closer, less powerful strike. He’ll then spin once and follow up with a second, more powerful and greater-ranged blow of a backhanded armsweep. This attack is only sometimes a Fury attack.

Open-Handed Lunge Combo (Rare)

Open-Handed Lunge

Victor raises his right hand up with his palm open. He then lunges forward, swinging with a right hook downward. It triggers a rare combo, but more often, it is by itself. The combo variation of this move has a much shorter range and does not have a hop before his attack.

In this combo, stay away by sprinting away.

Left-Handed Gut Punch

Much like his normal gut punch, but this is dealt with his left hand instead of his right.

Right Hook

Victor will deal a right-handed punch downward with his elbow sticking out a little further for increased hitbox danger.

Champion’s Fury Combo

Right Punch

Victor holds up his right hand near his face loosely and slowly turns it into a fist. This is commonly accompanied by a dialogue taunt from Victor but not always the case. This attack is a straight punch forward in front of him.

Sprint away from this attack as soon as you see Victor’s hand raise near his head. Continue sprinting around him on this right side. Get close and behind him as his second fury attack starts to wind down. After the gut punch, use a strong attack on him from behind.

Scythe Wielding Technique P rushes in to take advantage of Phase Two Victor using Slam in Lies of P

Left Lunge Sweep (Fury)

Victor brings his left hand back and flashes red. He then lunges forward a great distance with a powerful forward sweep in the left hand.

Victor does a short, less powerful version of his uppercut.

Left Sweep (Fury)

Victor sweeps with his left hand after flashing red again. However, this attack has far less range than his first fury attack and strikes more diagonally than horizontally. It leaves him leaning greatly to his right side.

Victor closes out the combo with a powerful gut punch with his right hand and leaves a medium recovery window afterward.

Technique P runs into Phase Two toward Victor with maximum Pulse Cells in Lies of P

N/A

Uppercut (Fury)

After flashing red, Victor will pull his right fist up and launch forward with a right-handed uppercut that drags along the ground.

Dodge forward and to your right as Victor attacks.

Champion Victor glows red for fury attack and prepares to jump kick toward P who dashes right in Lies of P

Stomp

Victor raises both of his arms halfway into the air and rears back with his right foot raised. He then stomps it forward in front of him.

Backstep as Victor raises his foot.

Grab

Victor will yell like he does with his Frustrated Combo, holding both his hands up and yelling. When he grabs, however, he lunges forward with his left hand, pulling you toward his chest. This attack leaves him unbalanced. If caught, Victor punches his victim several times and stomps on them once before letting them go.

When you see the cue, sprint away from him or dodge forward and right (riskier).

Victor raises his right hand up with his palm open. He then lunges forward, swinging with a right hook downward. The comboless version of this move is preceded by a single hop and a step backward before the lunge.

Sprint forward and dodge forward-right on his right side. Can attack once after this move.

Left Hook

Victor punches forward with his left fist. This attack is fast and often comes after a small sidehop to Victor’s left.

Block or backstep.

Left Hook (Fury Variation)

Victor will flash red, pull his left fist back, and begin taking a few side steps forward. He then unleashes a powerful left hook that can send the player across the arena.

Perfect Guard or sprint to his side. Attack once after his punch completes and then backstep.

Flying Kick (Fury)

Victor will spin his torso to the left and raise his right foot as he turns red. He then launches himself forward, foot-first over a large distance.

Perfect Guard this or sprint to either side. You can attack once and then backstep.

Backswing

Victor swings one of his hands behind him as he quickly turns around. Always in response to attacks or an approach from behind after combos. Usually prefers to use his right hand.

Backstep away from this.

Smash

Victor raises both fists high in the air. He waddles slowly forward for a short time and then slams both of his fists down on the ground. This move has a large recovery window for Victor afterward.

Either Perfect Guard or sprint away.

Champion Victor’s attacks are what you’d expect for any boss themed after a wrestler or ring-fighter. Primarily relying onfist-based attacks and melee combat, Victor is aheavy-weight hardhitterwith limited ranged options and punishments for the arrogant.

Beyond his melee attacks, Victormust use launching techniques to reach youwhen you’re far away. He alsorarely runs andinsists on walkingeverywhere.

Victor is right-handedand will primarily strike with his right hand on most attacks. There are a few exceptions with some foot-based attacks and rare left-hand action, but it’s safe to say that Victor will spend most of his time using his right arm.

This means that you’ll have an advantage indodging to the right and staying on his left side.

You won’t want to get hit by most of his attacks, so it’s best todo a dance with Victorin the ring - give hits in his openings and dash back out. Never overstay your welcome as moves like Backswing and his fast Uppercut will punish you.

There are a few moves where you’ll want to take advantage of the openings:

However, the best move with the widest window for punishment is hisChampion’s Fury combo.Be warned: it is also his most dangerous move.

Youdo not want to try and block his Champion’s Fury combounless you’ve spent years drinking Nioh 2 and Sekiro like double-shot espressos. The best thing to do with this attack combo is tosprint awayas soon as you see Victor’s hand raise and hear, if it triggers, his taunt.

After Victor does his gut-punch attack, there will be a windowwide enough for even the heaviest and slowest Motivity builds to land a strong attack.Flee afterto avoid his Backswing follow-up.

Dash And Punch (x3)

Dodge forward and to the right just as he passes. Turn around, locked onto him, to repeat three times and attack after he finishes the third uppercut.

He swings with a right hook that drags along the ground first and then swings into a wild uppercut. After this attack, he immediately spins around to face you and will charge again. He repeats this three times.

Much like Phase One, continue sprinting away until he starts his second fury attack. Then sprint around him to the right and behind, attacking after he finishes his right hook attack.

Delayed Right Hook

After finishing with his Phase One combo, Victor will attack with a single right hook after a second-long delay.

Victor raises both of his arms halfway into the air and rears back with his right foot raised. He then stomps it forward in front of him. In Phase Two, he may do this attack twice in a row.

Ascended Smash

Double Slam

Yelling, Victor will pull both of his hands back and slightly crouch. He will then smash his right fist down and then his left, taking a step forward each time.

Stay away until he raises both fists in the air, beginning to cautiously approach. When he finishes his attack, use strong attacks on him.

Grand Slam

After striking the ground twice, Victor will take a few more hobbling steps forward and bring both of his hands down at once. This move has a large recovery window.

Gut Punishing Combo

Bringing his right fist back, Victor will take a few steps forward and then unleash a powerful gut punch. This combo can end here if P is not struck.

Backstep away and sprint if necessary.

Hammer Fist

After punching, he will raise his fist up over his head and slam it onto the ground in front of him.

Jumping Slam

Victor will place his right hand on the ground and crouch before launching himself high into the air. He comes back down with a powerful right-handed slam.

Sprint forward and dodge forward or to the right before he lands.

All of Victor’sattacks in Phase Two are mostly the same. The caveat here is thatmany of his combos now have one additional moveat the end of them.

The most dangerous of these changes are in hisCharging RushandChampion’s Fury Combo.

TheCharging Rush now has three iterationsinstead of one. This means: once he completes one dash and uppercut toward you, he’ll turn and do it again two more times.

If you remember the charging bull miniboss near the entrance to the Malum District, you’ll find this part of the fight will be very similar. Like with that miniboss, you’ll want tododge (to the right) as he passesand continue until he runs out of steam.

He does like to use this move to begin his attacks in Phase Two, so be prepared for this move straight out of the gate.

HisChampion’s Fury combo now has a sixth move. It isdelayed. This is a trap to punish players who got used to his combo in Phase One.

You can still get your strong attack in, however. Justwait for the new, sixth movein the combo to pass before attacking.

Anothernew combo can be punished: Ascended Slam. Although the Slam was already a good move for punishing in Phase One, it is doubly so now.

You will have the opportunity to land another strong attack against this, and possibly more depending on your build. Justwait until both of his fists hit the groundto punish him.

Patience Amulet, Extreme Modification Amulet, Nameless One’s Amulet, Swordsmanship Master’s Amulet

Flamberge (Legion Arm), Puppet Ripper, Booster Glaive, Salamander Dagger (modified with longer Technique handle of choice)

Champion Victor’s fight will beeasiest for Technique builds and hardest for heavy Motivity builds. This is because:

Regardless, both builds can succeed in this endeavor without a spectre by approaching this fight with patience and caution.

A spectre, however, is a massive benefit and will cause Victor to become a pushover. This is because he has very few attacks that cover him from behind. Once his focus is on the spectre, you’ll have ample opportunity to punish him from behind.

Although Master of Puppets called for aggression and forward movement, Victor’s fight will require you towait for your moment. He has highly telegraphed attacks and consistent combos that stay in melee range.

Dodging will be requiredfar more than blocking, though you can (and where possible)attempt Perfect Guarding his forward attackslike his fury attack: Flying Kick.

BecauseChampion Victor is right-handed, you shouldstay far on his right side. When dodging through attacking, you should attempt to do so forward and on his right side.

Most openings will only allow for one attack in Motivity builds and only a small handful in Technique builds.Do not get greedy with Victor; his high damage won’t make the exchange worth it.

Any items you have, preferably Thermite and Sawblades, should beleft until you’re near the end of Phase Twoto close out the fight and conserve resources for harder bosses and challenges.
