Yet, it’s within the Hyperlink Matches where the real challenges await. These matches present extra battles, placing you headfirst in gauntlets of escalating difficulty.
While the adrenaline of neck-and-neck Aether Spirit battles offers its own high, it’s the rewards that make the challenges truly worth it. Emerge victorious and collect valuable Aether Spirit Upgrade Data and Expansion Chips, along with exclusive rewards like the Warp Trotter Speech Bubble that will serve as an (adorable) badge of honor.
How to Unlock Hyperlink Matches
Before you can access the Hyperlink Matches, you’ll need toclear theCorridor of Fading Echoes Victory Zone.Once this initial Victory Zone is conquered, Hyperlink Matches will automatically become available.
You can access Hyperlink matches on the Aetherium Wars hub screen,right next to the Victory Zone tab.Alternatively,use the Aetherium Wars Player Terminalat the Old Weapon Testing Ground.

How To Defeat Wen Shiling
Wen Shiling, your first opponent in the Hyperlink Matches, leads with a mix oflevel two Incineration Shadewalkers (Aberrant type)andSilvermane Gunners (Humanoid type).
Aether Spirits come in three types:Aberrants, Humanoids, and Mechanical.Their interactions resemble a rock-paper-scissors dynamic. While building teams and in battles, an in-game reference guide will always be available to clarify these relationships. Remember:Aether Spirits deal 1.5x damage to weaker types and just 0.8x to those they’re disadvantaged against.
How To Defeat Julian
Julian presents a team made up entirely oflevel three Incineration Shadewalkers (Aberrant type).
How To Defeat Dunn
Dunn embodies the Silvermane spirit with a lineup ofone Level three Silvermane Soldier (Humanoid type), two Level three Silvermane Cannoneers (Humanoid type),anda Level three Incineration Shadewalker (Aberrant type).
How To Defeat Oleg
Oleg, your final obstacle in the Purple Light Level, showcases a lineup including theLevel three Entranced Ingenium: Obedient Dracolion and Illumination Dragonfish (both Mechanical type),paired with aLevel three Blaze Out of Space and Incineration Shadewalker (both Aberrant type).
Each Light Level that you clear will also complete the respective ‘Hyperlink Match’ task in the Rating Rewards screen, which will reward you with40 Relic Remains and 30000 Credits.

In the Blue Light Level, your first opponent is Natasha, the leader of Wildfire. She leads withfour Level three Imaginary Weavers (Aberrant type).

The final Blue Light opponent Lynx comes in swinging to take revenge for her brother Gepard. How To Defeat Arlan
The first foe of the Green Light Level is Arlan, who fields a uniform lineup:four level four Voidranger: Eliminators (all Aberrant type).
Always start by using the Aurumaton Gatekeeper’s Skill, even if the Saturated Activation Chip means that its Ultimate is already available. This is because using the Ultimate grants the Gatekeeper another action.So using the Skill first, followed by the Ultimate, gives the Gatekeeper two back-to-back attacks, maximizing your turn advantage.
How To Defeat Asta
Asta uses a mix of Humanoid and Aberrant type Aether Spirits:a level five Vagrant and Silvermane Gunner (Humanoid type), flanked by alevel five Voidranger: Trampler and Imaginary Weaver (Aberrant type).
How To Defeat Diting
Diting charges into the fray with an explosive lineup offour level five Automaton Spiders (all Mechanical type).
How To Defeat Yanqing
The final opponent of the Green Light Level is none other than young Xianzhou sword prodigy Yanqing. He utilizes a team oftwo level five Entranced Ingenium: Illumination Dragonfishes (Mechanical type), flanked by a pair of level five Abundance Sprite: Wooden Lupus (both Aberrant type).

How To Defeat Qingque
Entering the Yellow Light Level, you’ll notice a clear increase in difficulty. Your first opponent Qingque brings in an aggressive assembly:a level six Automaton Spider (Mechanical type), a level six Automaton Direwolf (Mechanical type), and two formidable level six Aberrants —Incineration Shadewalker and Voidranger: Reaver.
If you haven’t already,speak to Barrie near the Aetherium Wars Player Terminal.If you have two Mastery Marks,Barrie will give you the Sudden Evasion Chip,which will grant any equipped character 90 percent DMG Reduction for the first few turns of a fight.

As you step into the second match of the Yellow Light Level, Peppy unleashes a trio oflevel six Automaton Spiders (all Mechanical type)and alevel six Voidranger: Trampler (Aberrant type).
How To Defeat Sampo
The third foe you’ll face in the Yellow Light Level is the sneaky Sampo, a seasoned strategist with alevel six Entranced Ingenium: Illumination Dragonfish (Mechanical type), a level six Blaze Out of Space (Aberrant type), a level six Voidranger: Reaver (Aberrant type), and a level six Automaton Spider (Mechanical type).
How To Defeat Bronya
In the Yellow Light Level’s final battle, you’ll face off against Bronya, the Supreme Guardian of Belobog. She enters the fray with alevel six Silvermane Soldier and a level six Silvermane Gunner (both Humanoid types), accompanied by alevel six Voidranger: Trampler and a level six Voidranger: Reaver (both Aberrant types).
Defeating Bronya will unlock the Morale Activation Chip.This Expansion Chip accumulates Morale with every ally attack, boosting the stats of the entire team. It will beinvaluable for the upcoming Red Light LevelHyperlink Matches.

How To Defeat Welt
Kicking off the Red Light Level, you’re met with Welt and his team of Mechanical type powerhouses. He commands alevel six Entranced Ingenium: Illumination Dragonfish, a level six Aurumaton Gatekeeper, a Level 6 Entranced Ingenium: Obedient Dracolion (all Mechanical types), and a level six Abundance Sprite: Wooden Lupus (Aberrant type).
How To Defeat Topaz
The second Red Light Level challenger is Topaz, you’ll find her wielding a diverse team that includes alevel six Grunt: Security Personnel and a level six Senior Staff: Team Leader (both Humanoid types), joined by a level six Commerce Trotter (Aberrant type) and a level six Automaton Spider (Mechanical type).This lineup closely mirrors her set from the Final Showdown! Quest, save for the introduction of the Automaton Spider.

In your third Red Light Level match, you’ll face Wilder who brings in a lineup of three Aberrant types:a level six Everwinter Shadewalker, a level six Blaze Out of Space, a Level 6 Incineration Shadewalker, and a level six Silvermane Gunner (Humanoid type).

In the climactic Red Light Level Hyperlink Match, you’ll square off against March 7th. As both of you rose together through the Aetherium Wars questline, emerging as dual champions, this promises to be a legendary duel. March 7th’s formidable lineup features alevel six Automaton Spider (Mechanical type)alongside a trio of Humanoids:a level six Silvermane Lieutenant, a level six Silvermane Gunner, and a level six Silvermane Cannoneer.
What Are Exhibition Matches?
Upon beating March 7th and completing the Red Light Level,you’ll gain access to Exhibition Matches.These special matches will provide you with a randomized opponent, allowing you to continue to test your mettle.
It’s recommended that you complete an Exhibition Match at least once, as it’llunlock the achievement titled “We Are The Champion?”and also be the last mission you need to complete for theWarp Trotter Speech Bubble Prize in the Rating Rewards.
