Hisuian Decidueye’s raid is easier than the previous one, but still tricky, as it’s built around annihilating your team with its high Attack and moves that crit often. On top of that, it can drop your defenses, making the battle even more precarious.

Hisuian Decidueye comes with a Grass Tera type and the Mightiest Mark, and you’re able to face itin-game or via online raids up until June 17, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.If you missed the first window,it’ll be back starting Friday, July 18, 2025, 0:00 UTC to Sunday, Jul 13, 2025, 23:59 UTC.
It will be level 100, have perfect IVs, an Adamant nature, and will come with its hidden ability, Scrappy.

Scrappy makes it immune to Intimidate andallows it to hit Ghost-type Pokemon with Fighting- and Normal-type moves.
Hisuian Decidueye will open with eitherBrave Bird, Shadow Claw, or Triple Arrows.Thenit will undo your stat changes and abilitiesand use Bulk Up on its next turn.
In its next phase, it’ll keep attacking until you remove about a quarter of its health, at which pointit will activate its tera shield and use Swords Dance. After using Swords Dance, it will useGrassy Terrain, Leaf Blade, and Leaf Storm.
From there, it will keep using its attacking moves and occasionally Bulk Up.
The key things to consider in this fight are that:
In short, Hisuian Decidueye hits hard and crits often, so you either want to havePokemon that are bulky or can heal themselves.
Fighting Hisuian Decidueye With A Team
The Tera raidis much easier if you have a group of people you can coordinate with, giving you many more team options and having less to worry about.
Bold
Covert Cloak
For support Pokemon,Fezandipiti is 4x resistant to Fighting-type movesand has a chance of poisoning Decidueye with its ability. Spam Charm until either Hisuian Decidueye’s attackis as low as possible or it raises its shield.
Then simply spamAcid Spray, then Terastallize (preferably into Poison tera type), and useSludge Bombto attack,Roostto heal yourself, or cheer to heal the whole team. When the shield breaks, continue using Charm, healing as needed.
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 6 Atk
Impish
Thesecond support playercan run a Mew, focusing on Screech before the shield goes up, thenusing Life Dew to heal the party as needed. You won’t necessarily need to use a Tera Type unlessyou want to avoid the super-effective damage from Shadow Claw.
You can choose the last two moves you bring, though Mud-Slap to drop Evasion or Clear Smog topotentially reset Hisuian Decidueye’s stats after it uses Swords Dance can be useful.
Tera type for Mew doesn’t really matter as you probably won’t use it offensively. However, if you do want to Tera it,avoid Tera Bug as it will get quickly defeated by Brave Bird.
Attacker Builds
For the attackers, good choices are Corviknight, Ceruledge, or Skeledirge, and you should give your attackera Covert Cloak and maxed-out EVs in HP and whatever their attacking stat is. The nature should increase the attacking stat and lower the non-attacking stat.
252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
Modest
The attackers should open with Will-O-Wisp or Reflectto blunt the force of Decidueye’s first attack.Hisuian Decidueye will then reset your stats, so after that use Bulk Up two or three times, thenspam the attacking move and activate your Terastalization when the shield goes up.
Skeledirge doesn’t have a dedicated stat boosting move, as Torch Song will boost its Special Attack on its own, sosimply spam that and bring a second fire move in case you run out of PP.
How To Beat Hisuian Decidueye Solo
If you don’t have other players you can coordinate with, given how glitchy and random the online matchmaking is,it’s better to just do the fight solo and use NPCs.
Thebest Pokemon for soloing Hisuian Decidueye is Ceruledge, and you should use the following build:
252 HP/ 252 Atk / 6 Def
Adamant
The first turn, use Will-O-Wisp or Reflectto soften the blow from Hisuian Decidueye’s first attack. Then, use Clear Smog to reset Hisuian Decidueye’s stats.
From there, use Bulk Up to raise your Attack and Defense a couple of times, andwhenever you get to around half health, use Bitter Blade to heal back up.When Hisuian Decidueye activates its shield, use Clear Smog again to counteract Swords Dance.
Thenuse Bitter Blade until you can Terastalize, and after doing it continue alternating between Bulk Up and Bitter Bladeuntil you’ve hit around four total Bulk Ups.From thereyou can spam Bitter Blade until the end of the fight, using Clear Smog to reset stats as needed.
This strategy might take a couple of tries if Decidueye gets a few lucky crits in, but since NPC trainers don’t drop your timer bar when they faint, you do have some wiggle room if your own Pokemon faints.
Just keep in mind thatif you lose your Terastalization before almost completely breaking the shield, you might need to reset it.
