Recommended Group Size
Mega Rayquaza’s Mega Raid is among the most difficult of this specific Raid tier, requiring you to group up with others in order to comfortably complete it. More specifically, you will need at least agroup of four to six experienced Trainersto defeat Mega Rayquaza in this Raid.
If the group of Trainers that you are Raiding with is generally less-experienced, this group size will have to be increased. When this is the case, do your best to go into this Mega Raid with a group ofat least six to eight Trainers.
Consider powering-up one of the Pokemon in your battle party through eitherMega EvolutionorPrimal Reversion.

Mega Rayquaza: Strengths And Weaknesses
