How To Start Off As A Vampire Through CAS
The easiest way to start the game with a vampire Sim is bycreating one through the Create-A-Sim menu.After launching CAS, locate and expand the add Sim menuon the bottom left to find the occult Sim option.
Click on the occult Sim option andselect add vampire.
The occult section allows you to make your Sim start off as any of the more unique and supernatural types available in the base game and in any supporting expansion and game packs.
Just like any other Sim, you’re able to customise your vampire Sim’s appearance as well aschoose their personality traits and aspirations. The vampires game pack alsoprovides you with some gothic-inspired clothing optionsthat you may wish to outfit your vampire Sim in.
How To Turn Into A Vampire In-game
If you’re seeking a more immersive approach,the traditional route of turning into a vampire via being bitten is an option that your Sim can take.
The Forgotten Hollow, the new world included in the vampires game pack, is predominantly occupied by vampire Sims, including the stereotypical gothic vampireVlad,and the modern, Anne Rice ‘Interview With A Vampire’ inspiredCaleb Vatore.
If you’re having difficulty finding these Sims, Caleb will introduce himself to your Sim not long after they move into a household lot in The Forgotten Hollow.
Engage in friendly conversationwith any of your choosing and have your Simdevelop a friendship with them.After making friends with the vampire Sim, your Sim can ask them to become a vampire through theask-to-turn interaction.
If successful, your Sim will be bitten by the vampire Sim and,after 36 hours, will transform into a creature of the night.Just make sure that they don’t take a stroll during daylight hours after they turn.
Vampiric Children
Child Sims have a100 percent chance of being born as a vampire if both parents are vampires; if only one parent is a vampire, this chance is reduced to 50 percent.

How To Become A Vampire With Cheats
The in-game cheat console is incredibly powerful,allowing you to do a lot more things that the vanilla game either restricts or limits, such aschanging your Sim’s work outfitshould you fancy a change of dress. Rather than waiting around to become a vampire, or if you want a Sim from an existing save file to become one,cheat commands can be used to instantly turn your Sim into a vampire.
How To Activate Cheats
To activate cheats on PC, simultaneously pressCTRL + SHIFT + Cto reveal the cheat text box. For console,press all four shoulder buttons at the same time.
With the cheat console active, input “testingcheats on” or “testingcheats true” and press enter.
You should see aconfirmation message in the text boxif you’re successful.
