The Sims 4 Pool Building Tools
The Sims 4 offers six tools that allow you form unique pool shapes. Although the tools are all fairly simple, they can be used to create just about any type of pool you can imagine.Pool building tools can be found in Build Mode by clicking ‘Build’ and then selecting ‘Pools and Fountains’.
Description
Pool Tool
Used by clicking and dragging to quickly form a rectangular pool. This is the easiest tool to use when building pools, but it only allows you to create simple shapes.
Custom Pool Tool
Builds each wall individually and connects them to create unique shapes. This tool can be used to create detailed and unusual pool shapes.
Triangle Pool
Drops a small triangle-shaped pool onto the lot, whose size and shape can be changed by dragging the arrows on each side.
Square Pool
Creates a small-square shaped pool, which like the triangle pool tool, can be changed in size and shape by dragging the surrounding arrows outward or inward.
Square Pool (Diagonal)
Works just like the square pool tool, but drops the pool diagonally.
Octagonal Pool
Like the triangle and square pool tools, the octagonal pool tool drops a pool onto the lot in the shape of an octagon. This tool is best used for round pools.
Where To Build A Pool
