What Is The Entrepreneur Skill?
Introduced in The Sims 4: High School Years expansion pack, the Entrepreneur Skill focuses onhow well you market yourself. It’s a primary skill if you’re looking tofreelanceor start a career incontent creation.
Your Sims canbegin building the Entrepreneur skill in their Teens, in conjunction with Teen Sims being able to become Simfluencers or Content Creators.

How To Increase Your Entrepreneur Skill
The Entrepreneur Skill links to self-employment, and as a result,all job-based activities that are classed as self-employed, ieneed to be registered with the Ministry of Labor, willbuild this skill. They are:
Sims with theResponsible traitwill also earn points toward their Entrepreneur skill forevery positivechance event cardthat comes up during their workday. Negative results do not take away from the skill, but positive results build it.

The Benefits Of Maxing The Entrepreneur Skill
With the Entrepreneur skill in The Sims 4 centered around marketing yourself, it’s no surprise thatself-employed careerstypically rely on this skill the most.
Whether you’re astreamer, Simfluencer, freelancer,or are just performing someodd jobs or selling crafted itemsfor extra cash, knowing how to market yourself is critical.

As aminor skill, there are only five levels before you’ve maxed the Entrepreneur Skill in The Sims 4, but each one comes with some pretty cool newmoney-making abilities.

Create a business plan on your computer.
Your Sim must have an active career to do this. The finished product will appear as a USB stick in your Sim’s inventory.

Contact an angel investor in search of extra funding.
You won’t always get a yes, but when you do, the Simoleons start rolling in immediately.

Appear on the show, The Llama’s Lair, with your business plan.
Akin to Shark Tank, write a business plan and bring it to the show in an attempt to gain additional funding. You’ll also get the “Gain the Knowledge” trait after successfully appearing on the show.
How To Contact The Angel Investor Or Appear On The Llama’s Lair
As a perk of the level three skill, you’ll be able tomake a business planat any computer, and when it’s finished, itappears in your inventory as a small black box.This is key to securing extra funding for your ventures.
Click the business plan in your inventory, after hittinglevel four entrepreneur skill, and you’ll be able tocontact an angel investorstraight from there. If they like the business plan they’ll start sending Simoleons to fund your work.
Similarly, once youhit level five, you can choose instead to apply to The Llama’s Lairusing the option on the business plan. If the critics like it, you’ll get funding and a’Gain The Knowledge' traitwhich increases career salaries and makes Sims more open to conversing with you about business matters.
For the best chance of success, write your plan with amaxed out entrepreneur skilland keep your Sim’sneeds fulfilledthroughout the process.
