One-way roads inCities: Skylines 2carry drivers in one direction; this can help avoid traffic jams at intersections with oncoming traffic. Additionally, one-way roads make for great highways. After placing this road type though, you may want to change its direction.
This task can prove to be a bit difficult if you are new to Cities: Skylines 2, but we are here to help. In this guide, we are going to look at how to quickly change road direction. This also works for those looking to change which side has more lanes on asymmetrical roads.

Overall, the process of changing the road direction is surprisingly simple. To do so, you just need toselect the road type that matches up to the one you want changed. For example, if you want to change a two-lane highway road, select this road type.
Road direction will be shown with alittle white arrowwhen you are in the road-building menu.

With the road selected, click on the Replace Tool, which looks like two squares with arrows pointing between them. Click on the portion of the road that you want to change, anddrag it in your desired direction.
If a road is facing to the north, dragging the cursor south will change its direction.Dragging the cursor over multiple segments of the roadwill change the direction of all highlighted.

As mentioned above, this can also be done do asymmetrical roads. These are roads that haveone extra lane on one side. When you originally place these roads, the side with more lanes will be on the right from where you originally placed it.
Over time, you may want to upgrade normal roads to be asymmetrical, but upon using the Replace Tool, the extra lane is on the wrong side. Thankfully, you can use theexact same method as we did for road direction.
Simplyclick on the road in question with the Replace Tool, and drag your cursor in the other direction. The extra lane should now be on the other side of the road.
