Cyberpunk 2077brings you to the neon streets of Night City, a place full of criminals and violent psychopaths that terrorize the citizens every day. In a place like this, you’ll play as mercenary V, a legend in the making who will get a death sentence after crossing paths with Arasaka Corporation.
During the Phantom Liberty main story, you will have to ask spies Solomon Reed and Alex for help as you try to rescue Songbird, an expert netrunner kept hostage by the evil Colonel Hansen in Dogtown. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
How To Start Birds With Broken Wings
Aftersuccessfully escaping from the Black Sapphire in the ‘You Know My Name’ quest, you will be summoned to the Moth bar by Reed and Alex. There they will have a conversation about a past mission and talk about their next plans.
As a smaller reward, Alex will give you a braindance itemcontainingthe Lizzy Wizzy concertfrom the last mission.
You must hack into the Cassel twins' car, andto do that, you must hack an antenna situated in Pacifica.However,you must also impersonate them to take Hansen by surprise,so you must go to a ripperdoc acquainted with Reed, called Farida.
Chatting With Songbird
Before you’re able to even start with your main objectives,you’ll receive a call from Songbird.So Mi wants to talk to you in person, and after quickly upgrading your Relic, she’llask you to meet her between 11pm and 1am in a secluded location of Dogtown.
Once you arrive, she will show up in relic ghost form, andtalk to you about her life back in Brooklyn before admitting she wants to abandon everyone(Reed and Alex included) and escape once and for all. After the meeting is over,you must call Reed and keep going with your prior objectives.
The first antennawill be in Pacifica, in a building near the Voodoo Boys Chapel,but you will quickly find that won’t be enough, andyou must head to Santo Domingo and deal with an annoying kidto hack a second one. Once you’re done with that,Alex will invite you to have a chat at The Moth,and you will have a deep conversation with her followed by a cutscene, before it’s time for you to meet Farida.
Meeting Farida
Now you must head to Farida’s clinic, and to successfully get in,you must choose the right password.Reed will tell you more on the holo, but if you forget his indications, you must follow this dialogue option:
Once you’re inside, Reed will show up to talk about his plan ofusing an ICEbreaker on Songbird to put her to sleepand rescue her from Myers. After he heads out, Farida will start operating on you, and after havinga semi-delusional conversation with Johnny, you must exit the clinicto start the next quest.
