The first time you reach Skyrest inLords Of The Fallen, you’ll encounter Exacter Dunmire who will inform you about your duties as a lampbearer. Initially, you’ll find him near the Vestige in Skyrest. However, he will eventually relocate to a new spot on the left side of the Vestige.

In this new location, he will take on the role of a merchant and will request that you retrieve several items to further his understanding of Umbral knowledge. This marks the beginning of his quest, and this guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to find all the required items and complete his questline.

How To Get Bloody Aspergillum

The first item you’ll need is theBloody Aspergillum, and it can be found early in the game.

Starting from theSanctuary of Baptism/Vestige of Chabui, continue forward until you reach the arena where you encounterScourged Sister Delyth. After defeating her, return to the beginning of the arena, where you’ll noticea large statue on the right side.

At the base of this statue, you can collectthe Bloody Aspergillum.

How To Get Book Of Sin

After your encounter with Sister Delyth, continue your journey into Pilgrim’s Perch until you reach thePilgrim’s Perch Ballroom/Vestige of Blind Agatha.

While following the path tolocate the blacksmith in this area, you will eventually come acrossa path blocked by an Umbral entity. To pass through, you’ll need to use your Soulflay ability on specific items to unlock it.

If you proceed to theSoulflay item just beneath the door, you will findan Umbral Belly that you can Soulflay to recover the Book of Sin.

How To Get Hallowed Sentinel Scripture

Returning to thePilgrim’s Perch Ballroom/Vestige of Blind Agatha,follow the path on the left side of the Vestige.Enter Umbral realmonce you reach an area with water. After entering the Umbral realm,drop down and take the stairs to your right.

Continue climbing all the way to the top until you reacha chest next toan Umbral Flowerbed.To the right, you’ll notice some stairs that lead to the top of Pilgrim’s Perch. After exiting the cave, you’ll find yourself inan open area with numerous enemies on the lower level.

Prioritize dealing with the enemies, and thenproceed to the stairs in front of you,leading to a cage. Inside the cage, pick up the loot to obtain theHallowed Sentinel Scripture.

Now, you’ll want to progress through the game until you reachForsaken Fenanddefeat the Congregator Of Flesh. After that, continue forward until you reachForsaken Fen/Vestige of Valade.

From the Vestige,follow the path directly aheadand cross the wooden bridge. Keep moving forward until you reachan entrance on the left side marked by torches. Once you pass through the entrance,enter Umbral realmandstay to the right sideuntil you come acrossa wooden building.

Go inside the building andclimb the stairs until you find an enemy with his back turned. Defeat the enemy andproceed through the exit in front of you.Follow the path to the leftand eventually, you’ll reachanother entrance marked by torches.

Continue forwardto the right, and you’ll encounter theIron Wayfarer next to an Umbral Flowerbed.

Just after him, you’ll noticea path blocked by wooden barriersthat you can break by attacking them.

After clearing the path,continue following the trail to the right side, marked by torches. You’ll come acrossa barrier blocked by an Umbral item.Soulflay itto remove the barrier, which will lead you to a fight against themini-boss Mendacious Visage.

After defeating Mendacious Visage, continue forward byfollowing the path illuminated by torches. Eventually, you’ll finda ladder that you should activate to unlock a shortcut.

Shortly after the ladder, you’ll reacha wooden room with loot on a corpse to the left side. Pick up the loot to obtainVanguard Barros' Rosary.

How To Get Ravager Gregory’s Rosary

Continue progressing through the game until you reach the second Vestige inLower Calrath, known asLower Calrath Alehouse/Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch.

From there,drop down and head to the left. Drop down once more until you spota hole in the wall. Descend again andproceed straight aheaduntil you come toa path leading down to the right. This path will lead you toa large area with fire blazing all around.

Here,stick to the left side, and you’ll finda path leading upward. Keep following this path until you reach the rooftop. Once you’re on the rooftop,drop down to the other side of the streetand move straight ahead until you come toan area with a big bonfire in the center.

To the left of the bonfire, you’ll notice a destroyed wooden path leading to a building. Follow this path until you reach the building. Inside,go to the leftand you’ll see a locked door.Use your Umbral Lamp to bypass it. From there, follow this path until you reach a ladder.

Be sure to drop it down to create a shortcut to the Vestige.

To the right of the ladder, you’ll seea wooden platform that you can climb. Follow it to the rooftop until you spota corpse hanging on some spears with loot on it. Collect the loot to obtainRavager Gregory’s Rosary.

How To Get Dark Crusader’s Call

The next item you need requires defeating a bossin Revelation Depths.

To access this area, first reachSunless Skeinand continue deeper into the mines until you find yourself in a dark area knownas Revelation Depths. Here, you’ll need to progress as usual until you face the area boss,Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight.

After defeating her,she will drop the Dark Crusader’s Call.

How To Get Umbral Tome

Back inSunless Skein Mines/Vestige of Hooded Antuli, backtrack andhead to the left side. Ascend all the way to the top.

You’ll encountera pilgrim enemy at the top, so it’s a good idea to deal with him first since he can be troublesome with his spells. Once you’ve taken care of the enemy, you’ll noticesome wooden crates at the top. After rolling at these crates,jump down to the area where the pilgrim enemy was located.

Now,enter Umbral realm, and you’ll discovera hidden room on your right side. Make your way there andSoulflay the Umbral Bellyto obtain theUmbral Tome.

How To Get Perception Wisp

The final item you need is thePerception Wisp, which can be found atthe Tower of Penance. You can access this location through theManse Of The Hallowed Brothers.

After you reach the tower, you’ll notice that the main entrance is locked, sohead to the leftandtake the elevatorall the way up to the tower. Once at the top, you’ll need to do the opposite andmake your way down.

Just before you reach the first ground floor, you’ll spota wooden barrier blocking one of the cells. If you attack it, you can enter the room. Inside,there will be a Stigmaif you are already in Umbral. Make sure toSoulflay the Stigma, and after a brief sequence, you will obtain thePerception Wisp.

Hand Over The Items To Exacter Dunmire

you’re able to give all the items to Exacter Dunmire at this pointexcept the Perception Wisp, as handing it over prematurely willprevent you from accessing his shop. Therefore,make sure to purchase everything you need from him before handing over the Perception Wisp.

Some of the items you provide willexpand his shop’s inventorywith new weapons and spells, so be sure to check them all out.

At this point, Exacter Dunmirewill be located next to Molhu at Skyrest, and his obsession with Umbral knowledge will grow as you hand him all the items. After you provide him with all the items, he will start making his way deeper into Sunless Skein.

Where To Find Exacter Dunmire

Return toSunless Skein Mines/Vestige of Hooded Antuliand continue forward.Take the ladder to the right side, which you previously unlocked during your exploration of this area. Keep progressing byrolling over the wooden barrier, and eventually, you will reachsome stairs.

Descend the stairs, and you’ll find Exacter Dunmirenext to the Emergence Effigy. Be sure toexhaust all his dialogue here. This will cause Dunmire to move to his final location.

Revelation Depths Location

Return to the arena where you fought Harrower Dervla, the Pledged Knight, andtake the stairs to reachthe well that says Seek Scourings.

ensure to pick upExacter Dunmire’s RosaryandDunmire’s Ringnext to the well.

To unlock the well, you’ll need to obtain theUmbral Scouring Clump from Molhu. With this item, you can access the well. When you interact with the well using the mentioned item, you will be transported toMother’s Lull.

Upon reaching this area, you will findExacter Dunmire sitting there. If you interact with him, you’ll discover that he has gone mad due to his obsessive pursuit of Umbral knowledge.
