Thanks to Donald Duck’s discoveries, you’ll be able to unlock the fearsomely adorable blue alien Stitch inDisney Dreamlight Valley. At first, he has some trouble fitting in and not causing accidental destruction, especially where Donald is concerned.

However, you’ll help him keep his “badness level” in check in subsequent quests, and even find a new hobby: music. In this guide, we’ll show you how to help Stitch with his newfound musical ambitions, complete his quest Making Music, and unlock an exclusive furniture item from him.
How To Unlock The Quest
Unlike some other friendship quests, this quest has only one requirement to unlock it, to haveStitch’s friendship level at ten.
For some of the crafting recipes, however, you’ll need to have abiome with Hardwood and Iron Ore available, and the easiest and quickest to unlock for this isthe Forest of Valor, which costs 3,000 Dreamlight. You might also want to haveDazzling Beach and Sunlit Plateau unlocked.
Speak to Stitch once you meet the requirements,and he’ll bring up wanting to make music with people and get into his new music hobby. You will suggest starting a band and Stitch agrees, and a few hints are given out for potential band members, involving a lute and a flute.
How To Find The Band Members And Equipment
You’ll need to findtwo Valley residents to form a bandwith Stitch. If you have Prince Eric unlocked,you may have noticed him playing the flutein one of his idle animations, and he’ll agree to join Stitch’s band once you ask him.
Next, you’ll need to look for Kristoff, whocan be seen playing the Lutein one of his idle animations, and also mentioning it in some of his dialogue. Speak to him, and you’ll convince him to join the band with Stitch.
After you’ve spoken with both of them,you’ll need to visit Scrooge McDuck. Talk to him, and he’ll generously agree to hand over some equipment but also mention how to better sell the bandby using images of them.
There is a small visual and text glitch that can occur where the game says you need to find five villagers, but you only need two.
If you get this glitch, continue normally, and the two villagers needed will count as the five, and the quest will progress normally.
How To Craft The Photo Backdrop
Scrooge suggests making some professional images for Stitch’s band andasks you tocraft a Photo Backdrop for them. To make it, you’ll needHardwood, Glass, Fabric, and Tinkering Parts.
How To Obtain
Hardwood x20
Can be foundbeneath trees in several biomesincluding Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, and Frosted Heights. Also dropped bydigging up tree stumps.
Glass x10
Crafted at a crafting bench withfive Sand and one coal. Sand can bedug up at Dazzling Beachor when breaking sea debris in the same location. You’ll need 50 Sand and 10 Coal in total.
Fabric x10
Crafted at a crafting bench with five Cotton. Cotton can be bought or grown from seeds atGoofy’s stall in Sunlit Plateau. You’ll need 50 Cotton in total.
Tinkering Parts x9
Crafted at a crafting bench with two Iron Ingots.Iron Ore for the ingotscan be found in mining rocks in several biomes includingForest of Valor and Glade of Trust. You’ll neednine ingots total, which equates to30 ore and five coal in total.
Once you collect all the necessary materials,go to any crafting bench and look in the Furniture tabfor the Photo Backdrop. Craft it, then bring it back to Scrooge.
How To Take The Band Photos
Talk to Scrooge again, and he’ll agree to set it all up,then locate Stitch and talk to himnext. You’ll tell him about the updates, his new band members, and the photo shoot he’ll be doing.
Bring Stitch to the Dream Castle after the conversation, andhead up to the third floor where Scrooge has set up the Backdrop.Take three promotional photoswith Stitch, and thenspeak to Scrooge.
Scrooge will now get the sound equipment for you and start promoting the band, but he’ll tell you it’ll take a day or two. You’ll need towait one real-world daybefore the quest updates.
How To Set The Sound Equipment Up
Once a real day has passed, return to Stitch andspeak to him. You’ll give him a bit of a pep talk and also help him pick a name for his band, then it’s off to Scrooge to get the equipment.
Talk to Scrooge at his store, andhe’ll hand over the Sound Equipmentyou’ll need and suggest the perfect venue for Stitch’s band, Dazzling Beach.
Whether you’re at Dazzling Beach or elsewhere,go into your inventory and head to the Furniture tab. The Sound Equipment will beat the top in a request tab with Stitch’s icon.
Place the Sound Equipment at Dazzling Beachwhere there’s enough room, and you’ll get a little cutscene with the band and some adoring fans like Merlin.Take a commemorative photowith Stitch’s band, and the quest will update.
Finishing The Quest
The last thing you’ll need to do ismeet up with Stitch again and speak with him. He’ll thank you for helping him not feel forgotten and lost anymore,reward you with an exclusive furniture itemcalled Stitch’s Little Red Ship, and the quest will be complete.
