Frozen’s Olaf is a cheerful, kind, and knowledgeable little snowman. He’s always trying his best to help the residents ofDisney Dreamlight Valleyget along and be friends, and while it hasn’t always gone the best, he’s still made a lot of friends, working hard to put together a play for everyone to enjoy.

Almost everything is ready but Olaf is going to need your help with the finishing touches for it. In this guide, we’ll show you how to complete Olaf’s friendship quest, help Olaf finally present his play to the Valley, and obtain several exclusive furniture item rewards such as the Stage.
How To Start The Quest
For this quest, you’ll need to haveOlaf’s friendship at level ten, and you’ll also needto have progressed througha few of Donald Duck’s quests.
While having them unlocked isn’t a requirement to do the quest,you’ll needAnna unlocked, as well as theFrosted Heights, Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and the Glade of Trustbiomesfor some of the quest materials.
Speak to Olafto start the quest, and he’ll tell you it’s almost time for his play to be presented. There are still a few things he needs you to do for him before it’s ready though, and he’ll ask you tomake some cutouts and propsfor the set and actors.
How To Make The Cutouts
To make the cutouts, you’re going toneed someDry Wood, and several types of flowers for the coloring:Green Passion Lily, White Impatiens, and Orange Marsh Milkweed.
Where To Obtain
Dry Wood x12
Can be found beneath trees in theSunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, and Frosted Heights. Dry Wood is also sold occasionally atKristoff’s Stallonce it’s unlocked.
Can be found growing in theForgotten Lands.
Orange Marsh Milkweed x2
Can be found growing across both sections of theGlade of Trust.
Gather all the items, and thenhead to a crafting bench. Look for the Cutouts underneath theFurniture tab, craft them, then bring them back to Olaf to progress.
How To Make The Donald Duck Mask
Speak to Olaf, and he’ll compliment you on the cutouts, thendirect you toAnna, who’s handling the wardrobe.
Locate and talk to Anna, and she’ll tell you that she hasn’t had time to complete the Donald Duck Mask for the playdue to her workload with the costumes.
Besides needingFiber, Softwood, and Fabricfor the mask, you’ll also need some ofDonald Duck’s feathers.
Fiber x15
Crafted with 5 Seaweed at a crafting bench.Seaweed can be fished up in any biome andwithout a bubbling spot, or as a possible drop from Moana’s fishing expedition. Red Algae can also be converted into Seaweed. Can also befound at Kristoff’s Stallonce it’s upgraded.
Softwood x6
Can be found beneath trees in thePlaza, Peaceful Meadows, Dazzling Beach, Forest of Valor, and the Glade of Trust.
Fabric x3
Crafted from 3 Cotton at a crafting bench. Cotton can be bought or grown from seeds fromGoofy’s stall in Sunlit Plateau.
Thankfully, you won’t have to actually get feathers from Donald himself and face his wrath.Head to his house, and you’ll find four feathers spread across his roomfor you to pick up.
Bring all the ingredients back to Anna, andshe’ll craft the Donald Duck Mask for you, but it turns out his design isn’t too great. Anna decides not to play Donald Duck thanks to the mask, andyou’ll have to find someone else to play him again.
Rehearsing With Olaf
Speak to Olafand tell him the bad news about Anna. It’s a bit too late to get anyone else to play Donald Duck, so it’sup to you to take over the role.
Olaf will hand the mask back over to you, so navigate to yourWardrobe from your inventory and put the mask onfor the quest to update.Talk to Olaf againand he’ll go through some of the lines with you, and you’ll have a few different options to pick from.
Thefirst dialogue option in every section will be the correct one, but any of them will progress you, and the wrong answers offer some amusing responses from Olaf.
Now, it’s time to actually put on the play.Olaf will hand the Stage furniture item overto you and ask you to set up an area for the play.
How To Set Up The Stage
Go into your inventory then navigate to the Furniture section. There will be arequest tab at the top where the Stage is, and you have the freedom to place it wherever you’d like.
Once the Stage is set,you’ll teleport over and get a short scenewith you, Olaf, and several Valley residents.Take your commemorative photo of the playwith Olaf and the others, then your quest will update.
Finishing The Quest
Speak to Olaf after the play, and he’ll thank you for helping him provide so much joy to the Valley. As a reward, you’ll get a box containingthe Stage, all the cutouts used in the play, and the Donald Duck Mask.
Olaf will also reward you with theexclusive Permafrost Cloud furniture item, and his quest will be complete.
