Sergeant Yumi is a reputable officer who will occasionally have work for you. His second job is a bit more complicated than the first, but working for him gives you a decent sum of credits and experience, so it’s worth serving the people of New Atlantis, whether you want to help the community or fill your pockets.
Where To Find Sergeant Yumi
After helping Sergeant Yumicollect a package for Aegis, you’ll have towait for the next available job. You’ll know he has work for you when UC Security Officers inJemisontell you thatSergeant Yumi is looking for you.
Head to the Security Office in the starport andspeak to Sergeant Yumi. He’s got another job for you, this time involving a drunken dispute. While normally this would be dealt with quickly, the assailant is accused ofstealing a wedding ring. The problem is, the assailant was never identified.
Sergeant Yumi sends you to Dawn’s Roost tospeak with Royce Elginabout the fight in his restaurant.
How To Get To Dawn’s Roost
To get to Dawn’s Roost,take NAT transportationto the Residential District of New Atlantis. You’ll findDawn’s Roost inside of Pioneer Towers, to the right of the entrance.
Speak to Royce Elginabout the altercation. Ask any questions you like tolearn more about Hugo and Octavio, the two men involved in the fight. Both were wearing rings, according to Royce, but Hugo excused himself when security arrived.
Royce points you towardAthena Tower, where Hugo lives, but notes that Hugo may be leaving town soon.
What To Do With Hugo’s Ring
You’ll findHugo in the lobbyof Athena Tower, cursing Octavio’s name as a liar and manipulator. It turns outhe and Octavio were engaged, but after finding a napkin with a phone number in his partner’s pocket, Hugo lost it.
Now, Octavio is charging Hugo with the theft of the engagement ring. There are a few ways you may go about this:
You can pickpocket the ring or kill Hugo for it, but beware of the consequences of your actions. You will be responsible for any fines, and Sergeant Yumi will not be happy.
When you’ve made your decision,return to Sergeant Yumito explain what happened. Upon your arrival, he’ll ask if you recovered the ring. You canhand it overto him orexplain that the ring wasn’t stolen; it was gifted.
If you convinced Hugo to give you the ring, you can still tell Sergeant Yumi that the ring was a gift, thus keeping the ring for yourself.
Either way, Sergeant Yumi is pleased and will pay you for your time.
