Tamala fromPaliais a character shrouded in mystery. She is known for her reclusive nature, choosing to dwell in the seclusion of Bahari Bay, a location seemingly in the middle of nowhere. A playful tease at times, she also seems to have some mysterious alchemical knowledge and a curious cauldron full of green goop.

As you become more familiar with Tamala, the opportunity arises for you to propose the idea of her starting a beauty business. It’s not exactly surprising that she recruits you to help her get started, but it’s good to know what you’re getting yourself into.

How To Start The Beauty Business Quest

To get this quest, you’ll need toreach friendship level two with Tamala. You’ll only be able to get herone weekly gift, so your best opportunity to level her friendship up faster is to verify tochat with her once every Palian day, if possible.

Since she does live further away, it’s a good idea tomake sure you have someEmerald Carpet Mosswith youif you’re not sure what she wants for the week. It’ll save you some foraging time and another trip to Bahari Bay. She asks for the moss frequently, so it’s usually a good idea to have some in your inventory when you chat with her.

You’llreceive a letter in the mail requesting that you visit her, but you may also trigger the quests after reaching friendship level two if you try talking to her again. She will recruit you right away, and you can begin as soon as you get back to Kilima Village.

How To Share The Beauty Business Products

Tamala gives youthree samples to distributeand no ideas about who you should ask. If you’ve ever wanted to be a door-to-door salesperson, you’re in luck because that’s exactly what you’ll be doing.

You’ll get some bonus dialogue if you talk to Hassian and offer him the beauty cream. He will caution you about the product and its ingredients.

If there’s a villager in particular that you want to share the beauty cream with,make sure to ask them first. Once you’ve had three villagers accept a sample,you won’t be able to offer the deal to anyone else.

If you’d like to hear some extra bits of dialogue from villagers in Kilima, you may want totry offering the samples to others first. You’ll sometimes get information on their personal beauty preferences, or they’ll let you know if it’s not something they’re interested in at all.

Eshe

Eshe will bristle a little when you ask her about the free sample of beauty cream, but she will accept it with surprising grace.

Jel

Jel is more than happy to try a new beauty cream and will accept the sample. If you decide to speak with some other villagers, you will eventually be guided in his direction.

Zeki

Zeki isn’t an obvious choice to ask about beauty cream, but he’ll accept it to see if he can make a profit by reselling it.

Talking to Tish will gain you information that Reth is serious about his skin care regimen and will probably accept the beauty cream as well.

Once you’ve found three people to accept the free samples, you canreport back to Tamala in Bahari Bay. You may also have the opportunity to ask her if what she created was a love potion.
