The Curse Of The SI’la is one of the most involved Tales of Baghdad you will encounter inAssassin’s Creed Mirage. The first hurdle you will encounter is finding the location of this tucked-away Tale of Baghdad. Once you do, you’ll then need to complete an investigation where you will need to find out what exactly happened to this village.
Your investigation will have eleven steps in total. We will take you through each and every one and ensure that you aren’t missing any along the way. We’ve even provided a checklist that you can use as a quick reference. Finally, since The Curse Of The SI’la is the only reason you will ever need to step foot in the Abandoned Village, we’ll outline what treasure chests are found within its border.
The Curse Of The Si’la'
From the Observatory Viewpoint, head west on the map. You will eventually run directly into the Abandoned Village. Once you find the village, you should see the marker for the Tale of Baghdad. Head straight for it andyou will see Ma' Bad scaring some people away.
Talk to him and he’ll tell you of the “evil spirit” haunting this village. You will now need to investigate.Head west of where you talked to Ma' Bad.You’ll seea man’s corpse in front of a house on your left.Examine them. Then, head a little further down the road, andexamine the woman’s corpseyou’ll encounter on the right. Check outthe crate in front of the home, then, open the door and investigate the inside of the home.Examine the grill in the center of the room.
If you are ever struggling to find an objective,fall back on your Eagle Vision, as the objectives will glow if you are near them.
Once you have found the ammonia, leave the house. Across from that house is a scarecrow-looking thing with a pile of fabric beside it.Examine the fabric bundle,then head down to the beach. On your way there,you will find some tracks, and examine them. Your next stop is the beach.
We’re not sure if it was just our game, but a leopard was waiting on the beach to greet us. So, you shouldprobablyprepare for Kitty Kombat.A few well-placed throwing knives should take care of it.However, if you do decide to fight it head on, keep in mind thatit doesn’t have any parryable attack, so prepare to dodge.
You’ll see a mess of wagon tracks in the sand.Examine them. Next to these wagon marks isa pile of logs. Examine those as well. Head to the north and you will find another pile of bodies in front of another home.You’ll see a note among the corpses: read it.
Once you’ve doneallof that, head back to Ma' Bad. Talk to him, and inform him of what your investigation has uncovered. This will conclude the The Curse Of The SI’la Tale of Baghdad, andyou will be rewarded with a Skill Point.

Abandoned Village Treasure Chests
There are a grand total of three treasures located in the Abandoned Village.All three chests hold components that you’re able to use to upgrade your weapons and tools.The first treasure chest is located in front of a house near the beach—meaning that it is on the west side of the Abandoned Village. This chest is resting inside the scaffolding.You simply need to destroy the two giant pots sitting in front of the scaffolding to reveal a small hole that you can crawl through.
The next treasure is east of the note you found alongside the corpses on the north end of the village. It is tucked away behind the house next to the house the note is found in front of.Be careful, two deadly snakes guard this chest.
Finally, on the south end of the village, there is a chest on a wagon. However,this chest is guarded by two leopards.Thankfully, you can get the jump on the pair, and rain throwing daggers down on them.
