Life inStarfieldis already hard to navigate, but as an ex-convict it can be extra difficult. Most times, ex-cons want to build a better life for themselves, find a job, and be left alone. But when everyone believes you’re to blame whenever something bad happens, it can be tricky.
The Eleos Retreat on Ixyll II is a retreat for ex-cons that helps them to pay off their bounties, offers job training, and a way to find some peace after prison. But when one of the construction workers goes missing, all fingers are pointed at them. Was it really one of them? Or is someone else to blame?
At some point during your travels, you may have received the activity ‘Go To Eleos’, which directs you to visit theEleos RetreatonIxyll IIin theIxyll system.
If you don’t have this activity, you canstill start the quest by visiting the planet.
When you land, walk over toJonah Halftown, Sloan Temitope,andNevanwho are arguing about amissing workerfrom Jonah’s construction crew. The activity will then change to ‘Ask About The Missing Worker.’
When the conversation is over, talk to Sloan. Tell her that you would like tohelp look for the missing man, which unlocks theDead Stop quest.
You learn that the worker’s name isMr. Kilman.Sloan tells you to speak withGreg D’Angelo, who was trying to locate Mr. Kilman before getting seriously injured.
Talk To Greg D’Angelo In The Infirmary
Head inside the retreat’s facility and you’ll findGreg in the infirmary.
He tells you that before he got attacked, he wastracking some footprintshe thought might’ve been Kilman’s. He thinks they may haveled to a cave system nearbyand suggests you start there.
Search For Kilman In The Cave System
Headnortheast from the Eleos Retreatto where you’ll find a system of mineral caverns.
Before you enter the caverns, make sure you haveyour guns ready.Once you’re inside you’ll be attacked by somePack Glowhands.
Turn left inside the cavernsand follow the general direction of your quest marker. You’ll come across a few beasts on the way,so deal with them as you go.
The path will eventually take you down alarge mineral.Kilman will be at the bottom.
Tell him you’re a friend and that you’re there to rescue him, andhe’ll follow you back to Eleos.
You cango back up the way you came, or go down and head out the back entrance. Before you leave, however, at the bottom there’s a’creature pile’that holds afew resources you may need.
Report Back To The Retreat
Return to Eleos Retreatand listen toKilman’s report of the kidnapping. Unfortunately, the construction workers still think the group ofex-cons are to blame.
When that’s done,speak to Sloan to get your quest rewardswhich will lead to the next quest:Ghost Hunt.
