The release of the 4.0 patch update brought a huge map expansion toGenshin Impact, at least in terms of lore and gameplay. The nation of Fontaine is now inviting you, a seasoned traveler and adventurer, to discover all there is to know about it.

Relic Records: Creations Of The Hydro Nation will take you around Fontaine, allowing you to get to know the land as you complete different foraging and battle missions. Besides the wealth of knowledge you will accumulate, there are Primogems to be earned from each goal. So, don’t dally! You don’t want to miss out on this generous opportunity.
Relic Records: Creations Of The Hydro Nationis a limited-time event andends on Monday, July 27, 2025. Fortunately, you can complete this in a mere few minutes, so that’s plenty of time left.
How To Complete The Forest’s Greenery
The first part of the event will have you do some foraging on land. To complete it, you will need to find and collect:
These are all kinds of flowers that growin different environments around Fontaine. They are some of the nation’s Regional Specialties that are often used in cooking and also serveas ascension materials for characters from this region.
Each goal will grant you25 Primogems, along with 20,000 Mora and two Hero’s Wit.
Finding Marcotte Flowers
These flowers are very abundant throughout Fontaine’s wilderness. While you will be able to find them while exploring anywhere in Fontaine,they are most commonly found around Marcotte Station.
The entire section ofthe mountainous path behind Marcotte Station should have more than enough flowersto check that item off the list and get many extra spares.
Pick up as many as you can find! Marcotte flowerswill be useful for new Fontaine recipes.
Finding Rainbow Roses
These flowers don’t tend to grow in the wild, according to their description. You might be able to find the rare exception, but even then,they will most likely be around little cottages and housesrather than in the open country.
The easiest way to gather enough of them isto head right into the cityor take astrollaround the Fountain of Lucine. These flowers grow more sparsely compared to Marcotte flowers, but there are still plenty in these areasto get the item checked off and earn your corresponding reward.
Rainbow Roses areone of Lyney’s ascension materials, so you could always use this opportunity to begin farming them if you wish.
Finding Lumidouce Bells
These flowers grow around humid areas, and they can be frequently foundaround places such as waterfalls, or close to the shore. The quickest way to gather enough of them to check them off the list isto head north of the Court of Fontaine.
This area isrich in Lumidouce Bell clusters, which will help you make quick work of gathering a high number in the shortest time possible.
Lynette uses these flowers as an ascension material, so it is a good idea to pick them all up while you’re in the area.
How To Complete Brave The Waves
For the second part of the event, you will have tofight some normal mobs around the map, both on land and underwater. Each goal grants25 Primogems,along with someweapon ascension materials from Fontaine’s new domain, andfive Mystic Enhancement Ores.

These are all regular enemies that you will find all over Fontaine, andClockwork Mekas are especially abundant.Some of their varieties can even befound underwater.
You can complete this part in different sections and check the items off independently of each other. However, the quickest and most effective way to complete this whole partisto finish it all in one go while diving.
Head to the spot shown above,just Northeast of the Elton Trench Waypoint. You will find a variety of Clockwork Meka and Fontemer Aberrants in this area.
Defeat a handful of themusing any Xenocromatic Creature Ability, and you’re done. All Clockwork Meka and Fontemer Aberrantswill count toward the normal opponent’s underwater item as well.
If you want to complete itthe traditional way, you may find a high concentration of Armored Crabson the shore north of the Court of Fontaine, where you farmed the Lumidouce Bells. As for Clockwork Mekas, You can find many through themountain path to the west of the Court of Fontaine, and most of them are fairly easy to beat, too.
The underwater enemies can be found all over the map, so you should have no problem finding a handful of them after diving.

How To Complete Ripples On An Azure Sea
This part of the event will have youforaging again for some materials.The difference is that this time youwill mostly find everything underwater, except for Romaritime flowers, which grow both underwater and on land.
To earn your per-goal reward of25 Primogems, along with20,000 Mora and 2 Hero’s Wit, you must collect:
Finding Tidalgas
Tidalgas are highly abundant inareas where there is a lot of vegetation underwater. The area surrounding the Teleport Waypoint that restsnorthwest of the Pale Forgotten Glory domainhas many Tidalgas floating around that you may just approach and grab.
Tidalgas in this areashould beenough to complete the objectivewithout incident.
Finding Beryl Conches
The case for Beryl Conches is kind of similar to Tidalgas in thatthey are often found in groups in the same area.Beryl Conches grow on walls, though.
This means you will easily finda handful of them anywhere near a sunken structure. For example, you are likely to find themattached to the sideof a ruined toweror on some dilapidated walls, like in the reference above.
you may headnorth from the Teleport Waypoint and past the area where you found Tidalgas. Swim a little deeper down to find the ruin where a handful of Beryl Conches will be resting.
Finding Romaritime flowers
Romaritime flowersgrow all over the ocean floor, and you may find a large amount of them for collecting justsouthwest of Thalatta Submarine Canyon.
Romaritime flowers also grow on the shore inthe area surrounding the Denouement of Sin domain.To pick the ones that are not underwater, you will have toactivate them with Hydro first.
How To Complete Thornbreaker, Weedwhacker
This part of the event is combat-based as well, and the mobs you are supposed to fight are a little tougher. You will earn25 Primogemsper goal, along with someweapon ascension materials from Fontaine’s new domain, andfive Mystic Enhancement Oresif you defeat:
Finding And Defeating Tainted Hydro Phantasms
As luck would have it, these mobs arecommonly found in pairs around the shores of Fontaine, so clearing them out should be very quick. You canfind a pair in the area surrounding Romaritime Harbor, near the Denouement of Sin domain.
Although these little guys don’t look very tough, they havean outstanding capacity to absorb damage. So, they can be quite troublesome. Bring a team that canslash through hefty health barsquickly for the best results.
Finding And Defeating Breacher Primus
These mobs are an addition to the list ofabyssal creaturesin Teyvat. They come in different sizes andusually attack in groups.
The safest bet to find a couple of them is to head to Elynas, and there will be a pairto the southeast of the Teleport Waypoint.There is also a small groupby a Precious Chest to the north of the Waypoint.
They are unfortunately very sparse, butthere areenough in this area to complete the mission.
How To Complete Constancy Of Change
This part of the event requires that youfight and defeat both versions of the Icewind Suite performances, one of the new world bosses that were added in the Fontaine expansion. Though each version has different attack patterns, you will still fight both Mekas during either version, andboth challenges will be Anemo and Cryo-based.
Coppelia is Ousia aligned, so you will need a Pneuma unitto counter her during the height of the performancewhen she uses Ousia energy to enhance her attacks.
The Hydro Traveler works just fine to disable her. Alternatively,you can just wait for her Ousia state to run outif you don’t want to bring an Arkhe unit to the fight.
Coppelius is aligned to Pneuma, and during the height of the performance,he will deploy a Pneuma shieldthat you may instantly disable with Lynette’s elemental ability. However, the shield itselfcan also be disabled with regular elemental reactions.
How To Complete Shattered Armor
The final part of the event will require youto defeat the Emperor of Fire and Iron, another new world boss that was added to this expansion. There are two goals to this challenge:
You can reach the Twin Molten Horns with ranged attacksat any point during the fight. However, he will alsobury itself in the groundat one point, leaving the Twin Molten Hornscompletely open to melee attacks.
To find this boss, you need to dive andhead South in the Elton Trench area,until you find what seems to be acave entrance on the ocean floor’s surface.
