The Spider And The Fly is the third mission of theCyberpunk 2077: Phantom LibertyDLC. It begins immediately after the last one, which introduced you to President Myers. Now, your goal is to escort Madam President far away from her downed plane to keep her safe. Much of that escapade occurs during this quest.RELATED:Cyberpunk 2077: Romance And Relationships GuideAlong the way, you learn more about Myers and what Dogtown is like. That is not to say it’s a very conversation-heavy quest. After all, you engage in plenty of stealth and fighting throughout. Here is all the information you need to get through it all, somewhat unscathed.
Get President Myers Away From The Plane
The quest begins with you talking to Songbird. Then, you need to leave the plane with Myers, using the exit on the other side to where you entered. From there, make your way up the rubble to reach a metal doorthat you must help the President open.
Once inside, you and Myers talk for a bit before she asks you tocut the tracker out of her neck. It’s grim, but you must do it.When the drone arrives, crouch behind cover next to Myersso it doesn’t see you.

Get The Elevator Working
With the tracker out of her neck and the drone gone, you can continue through the building. So,head through the double doorsat the end of the hall andwalk up to the elevator.
It doesn’t function because there is no power. So,turn around and go back through the door you just came through. Then, turn left at the pipes and go down the ladder.

Go around the corner andclimb through the window. There will be another ladder not too far in front of you. You need toclimb it to get to the level above.
Up there, you willfind a fusebox to interact with.Once you do, you canreturn to the now-working elevator. But instead of taking the ladder back down,go through the newly-opened door next to the ladder as it’s a shortcut.

Escort Myers Through The Building
Click the button on the elevator to ride it up. When you get out, progress forward through the doors to trigger a cutscene. After the scene, progress into the next area. In this place, you will havethe drone stalking you through the window.Stay out of its light.
There isan access point to get rid of the stalker in the nearby kitchen. To reach it, head into the main room in front of you andtake a right to enter the kitchen. The access point isbehind the counter. With the drone gone, you can progress into the next room.

Alternatively, you can skip a lot of this.To do that, head right before entering the main room. Here, you will find a small set of stairs. At thetop of the first few steps is a hatchyou can open with a quick hack. This allows youto enter the vent and bypass the room the drone is stalking.
Either way, you will end up in a room with plenty of enemies. You can use stealth or shoot them all.Even if you’re using stealth, you probably need to take all the guards out, as thereisn’t much room to sneak past without being seen.

When you choke someone out or snap their neck, Myers will usually take someone out, too, if they’re nearby.
When all the enemies are down, take the vehicle and get out of there.

Reach The Target Building
Your goal at this point is toreach a building northwest of where you are. This is difficult because there areplenty of patrols around. These patrols aremarked on your mini-map as blue dotswith detection cones or circles.
You should try toavoid them while making your way to your objective. If you get seen, you may fight them or try to escape. Either way,you have to reach a parking lotwithout them being on your tail.

In front of the parking lot is a group of guards. You cango to the right to find a good pathto get around them.
Temp Title
Use the elevator in the parking lotto go up to the Expo Hall.
From here, you can justwalk through the place to the exit on the other side.If you want, you can go up to the exhibits and hit ‘activate’ to hear Myers talk about them.

Once you’re ready to leave,go to the door at the top of the stairs.Songbird will partially open it and you must interact with it to finish the job.
Go through the next room toreach the elevatorand call it down. There will be some problems and plenty of enemies will turn up.This fight can get a bit hectic because goons will spawn from all directions. This is because Songbird is about the activate the giant mech to wipe them all out. So,the battle is mostly about survival.

When all the foes are dead, the mech will start to freak out. While it’s doing this, ensure tostay near the elevator. This is because the mech eventually turns on you and you need toopen the shutter next to the elevator to escape. Therefore, it’s smart to stay close to it.Once you’re on the other side of the shutter, your only objective is to flee.you’re able to’t run at first due to V’s cybernetics freaking out. But when sprint becomes available, use it to get tothe next elevator and press its button.
At this point, you have tosurvive until the elevator arrives. There’s no secret trick to this.Just stand behind a pillar. When the lift arrives, run to it and interact with it.This triggersa quick-time event-like scene, where you have to hit each prompt as it appears. It is pretty simple.

Now, it’s time tofight the former friendly mech.
Phase One
In the first phase of the battle, you musttake out all its weak points. The issue is that those weak points only light up for a short time. This makes it hard to target them. Most of the weaknesses are small panels and little bits of the machinery inside. You can tell by the damage you’re doing whether you’re hitting the right bit.
Grenades are effective for this part since they can hit multiple weak points at once.
While attacking, you need towatch out for its attacks, too. It has a machine gun, a large laser, and an explosive. Most can be avoided by hiding behind pillars and walls.
When you do enough damage, some drones come out.Target the ones with the objective markers on themas they heal the Chimera.
Phase Two
For the final part of the battle, you mustmake your way to the upper level to get above the toxic gashe may unleash.Once up there, just keep attacking the brute while hiding from its attacks, which are largely the same as in the first phase. However, the mech does occasionally fire out a barrage of missiles that are hard to avoid as they go everywhere. Try to keep an eye on where they’re landing.
When you’ve done enough damage, the mech falls, and you must jump on its head to rip out its core. This is the last action of the quest.NEXT:Cyberpunk 2077 - Best Cyberware For Every Build
