What Is The Underground Treasure Hunt Event?
Event Overview
In the Underground Treasure Hunt event, you’ll be tasked withexploring up to five ancient ruinshidden beneath Belobog.
Here’s the twist:these ruins are laid out like a giant board game, and every square you step on might hold a treasure or, well, something that wants to fight you. On top of that,every move you make is going to cost you a stamina point.Once you run out of stamina, your team will begin losing health until it’s game over. As such,strategy is king here. Chart your course, manage that stamina, and be ready for whatever those squares hide.
There’ll betwo distinct modes of explorationfor you to complete:Surface Explorationand the more challengingDeep Exploration. Completion of the Surface Exploration is a prerequisite to access its corresponding Deep Exploration.
Event Duration And Requirements
The event will run until 03:59 server time on August 28.However, before you begin, make sure you’ve completed theTrailblaze Mission Jarilo-VI — Silent Galaxy.
Once you’re set,head over to your Mission menu and select the Underground Travelogue quest.This will set your course to Boulder Town on Jarilo-VI. Once there, seek outBalaway at the Miner’s Lampfor essential information. Then,proceed to the Great Mine, where you’ll encounter Aksay. After a brief dialogue exchange, you’ll unlock the Underground Treasure Hunt.

Upon completingSurface Exploration Level 4 of Ruin 5, you’ll be able to acquire the"Where’s the Rabbit?" Chatbox Modifierwhich, as its name suggests, willallow you to personalize the theme of your in-game Chatbox.
Underground Treasure Hunt Event Mechanics
Every ruin is adistinct labyrinth of unique challenges and buffs. Understanding these aspects is key, whether it’s thetrial characters on offer, specific stat boosts unique to each ruin, or the boss enemies lurking within. In this segment, we’ll delve into each one, providing you with knowledge of what to expect to ensure your triumphant navigation through these stages.
Boss Enemies And Potential Encounters
Automaton Grizzly, Automaton Direwolf
Automaton Spider, Automaton Beetle, Automaton Hound
You would ideally bring at least one character that cantake advantage of the DoT Boost.Go-to choices includeKafka, Luka, Serval and Sampo.This ruin will also provide an additional challenge in thatenemy tiles will block surrounding tiles, limiting your movement options.
Break Effect Boost
Ice Out of Space, Blaze Out of Space
Frostspawn, Flamespawn, Mask of No Thought, Everwinter Shadewalker, Voidrangers, Imaginary Weaver
Thanks to this ruin’s Break Effect Boost, you shouldbring characters who can easily cause Weakness Break.The TrialSilver Wolfis fantastic for this reason, as she can implant Weaknesses onto enemies, paving the way for your other characters to trigger Weakness Break with greater ease. For this ruin,enemy tiles will drain your team’s stamina every three steps you makeon the board.
Frigid Prowler, Searing Prowler
Vagrants, Automatons, Imaginary Weaver, Incineration Shadewalker, Decaying Shadow
This ruin provides aboost to Follow-Up Attacks, setting the stage for characters likeJingyuan, Himeko, and Hertato shine. This time around, you shouldinteract with as many tiles as possiblebefore entering battles, asenemies will become stronger based on how many unturned tiles there are.
Guardian Shadow, Decaying Shadow
Shadewalkers, Spawns, Silvermane Guards
Opt for characters with strong Basic Attackslike Blade and Qingque. You’ll also want tokeep an eye out for Trotters lurking on enemy tiles.Each one will have a countdown beside its icon, which indicates the turns remaining before the Trotter vanishes.Topple them in timeand snag yourself some valuable rewards.
Svarog
Automatons, Trotters, Decaying Shadow, Vagrants, Shadewalkers
This last ruinrevisits the DoT boostfrom the beginning. So, those characters you relied on initially? They’ll shine once again. However, don’t expect a cakewalk.This ruin also throws in every challenge you’ve previously faced, from the tile blocking to the Trotters.
By completingDeep Exploration Level 2 across all ruins, you’ll earn the much-covetedSelf-Modeling Resin, used for crafting your custom Relics. Bear in mind thatSelf-Modeling Resin drop in scarce quantities, with only one or two available every version update. Use them wisely!
