Contracts inAssassin’s Creed Mirageare small in scale compared to the main missions and are a good source of getting rewards quickly. While most of these mission types ask you to assassinate certain targets in the streets of Baghdad, one of these involves escorting a high-value target to safety.

Escorting important NPCs has always been one of the recurring mission types in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also not immune to this charm. One of the contracts requires Basim to bring a weapon dealer to safety with a special request of not getting any hits.

The Weapons Dealer Contract Walkthrough

Most of the early game contracts in Assassin’s Creed Mirage reward you with some of the best outfits and swords. The Weapons Dealer Contract is one of these side missions you will come across very early in the game that offers a fancy-looking sword with excellent weapon stats and a weapon perk you’re able to use from mid to late game.

Finding The Weapons Dealer

Once you have acquired the contract from the Contract board in any of the Hidden Ones' Burueas, proceed to the marked areaas the game shows you.

If, for some reason, the contract does not activate automatically, you need to pause the game, go to theInvestigationsoption, and then you will find the series of contracts you have accepted. Hover over The Weapons Dealer contract and track it.

The marker will take you to a city hub where there are a lot of houses and nearby markets, but it will not pinpoint the exact location of theweapons dealer. It is because he is hiding away from the authorities and not risking his neck to go out in the open without a muscle beside him.

This is where you need to useEnkiduand scout the area. As seen in the image above, a quick hovering over the buildings will reveal the location of the weapons dealer. Interact with him, and he will reveal to have no option but to trust Basim in escorting him to safety.

Take Out Guards Near The Market

As soon as you escort the priority target, he will ask you to clear out the guards, as seen in the image above. There are basically three guards in this area, and you may eliminate them any way you want.

You must try tostrike from shadows and kill guards without getting detected. Otherwise, the combat situation could potentially lead you to take damage, failing the contractor’s request for the Weapons Dealer contract.

We eliminated the guard posted at the roof first and swiftly neutralized the other two by hurling a throwing knife tool at flammable pots. This killed the remaining two guards instantly without creating a combat situation.

You can accrue here Notoriety if the public spots you are killing guards.

To not take any damage during the Weapons Dealer contract, we highly recommend you clear your name and not let theNotoriety levelreach the third level. This will causeShakiriyya elite guardto tail, track, and fight you, increasing the odds that you will take damage eventually.

Eliminate Guards Posted Besides Large Gate

Once you are through the above-mentioned situation, the next stop in escorting the weapon dealer will be to kill all guards standing near the large gate, as shown in the image above.

By this point in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you should have unlocked more than one tool in the game. Using a smoke bomb on the two guards standing near the cart will provide enough room to assassinate both without anyone seeing you commit this transgression.

Do not make a run for the guard you spot at the far end of the gates. You need to take out anarmored guardfirst found in the room after the cart. If he detects Basim, killing him in combat will make it challenging not to get hit. Best to stick to shadows.

After taking care of the armored guard, eliminate the last one in this area and move on to the last encounter of the Weapons Dealer contract. You can eitherheadshot the guard using a throwing knifeor strike the cheetah cage’s door, causing the animal to let loose on the guard.

Going with the first option will definitely increase your Notoriety level, which we do not recommend for this mission. Therefore, a subtle andstealthy approachis advised here for you to take.

Clear Out Guards Posted At Fountain Area

The final phase of the Weapons Dealer contract mission in Assassin’s Creed Mirage involves killingfour guardsstanding in each other’s line of sight. The best course of action here will be to climb up the houses and eliminate the guard standing on the balcony, as seen in the image above.

Once that is done, try to hit theexplosive potsthat will set ablaze, the two guards blabbing about some random stuff to each other near it.

You will findcivilianssitting on the rooftops during this encounter. attempt to be as subtle and stealthy as possible and avoid hitting Level Three Notoriety.

Now, move onto the rooftop of the next house, and you will have a perfect opportunity toassassinate the last guard from the air, clearing all threats for the Weapons Dealer in the fountain area.

Rewards

Once that is done, the weapons dealer will start running to safety again. After reaching someboats dockedat a canal, he will find respite and thank Basim for escorting him out from the guards, saving his life in the process.

This will conclude the Weapons Dealer contract mission, and you will get the following rewards:

The best part about the Rostam sword is not its base damage or defense damage but theChain Reactionperk. If you’re a combat-oriented player, you will appreciate the five percent scaling damage the sword offers as you landback-to-back slashes on enemies.

Upgrading the Rostam sword to level three even makes it more devastating, and you’re able to potentially play the entire game using this sword without feeling underwhelming at any stage.
