How To Find The Amber Fossil

The Amber Fossil is a Discovery Quest Item, and it can be found randomly whenchopping large Heartwood trees all across Bahari Bay.

Only large-sized trees can drop it, which meansyou’ll need at least a Fine Axeto cut down the right trees.

There isn’t an exact drop percentage for it, so it may take a while to find one.

As soon as one drops,you’ll automatically get its associated quest, Trapped In Time, even if it goes straight to storage.

Take The Amber Fossil To Jina

Once you have the quest, locate Jina and head over to her. She’ll spendmost of her day at Mirror Pond Ruins, then come toCaleri’s Library in the evening.

Talk to her, andJina will identify it as a Sunshade Leafhopper,an ancient insect that hopped around in Bahari Bay thousands of years ago.
