Since that’s not always enough to allow you to craft a recipe, the second thing you’ll need to do isencounter all the necessary ingredients. Encountering ingredients requires you toexplore as much as you can.
Quests oftenunlock new areas to explore, so make sure tocomplete any quests that become available. Most quests don’t tell you what will be unlocked as you progress, so doing all the quests is very important.

In addition to exploration and quest completion, you’ll alsounlock new recipes as your skill levels increase. Each type of task you do like digging or chopping trees, improves a related skill.
You may need toupgrade your toolsin order to collect certain crafting ingredients.

Follow this basic list and you’ll be on the right track:
How To Start Crafting
One of the things that can make crafting a bit difficult in Fae Farm is how easy crafting is to ignore. You’ll only know thatyou’re in a crafting area by a little hammer symbolthat shows up at the very bottom of your screen.
If you see that hammer, you’re in an area whereyou can craft and place items. When you craft certain items, such as crafting stations, you have toset them downin order for the crafting process to complete.

For this reason, you have to be within the placement gridsfor the crafting menu to open. As long as you seethe hammer iconat the bottom of your screen you’ll be fine to start crafting.
Access the crafting menu byusing the ‘c’ keyon the pc version, orthe down arrowon controller. If you’re not sure if you’re in a crafting area try pressing the normal keys for accessing the crafting menu.Nothing will happenif you’re in the wrong zone. Press the same key or button again toview the collection of recipesavailable.

Items you areable to craft will be lit up, while others are dim. Select an item to craft andplace it within the available gridto complete the crafting process.
The item outline will be blue if it’s okay to place it, andwill turn red if you cannot place it.

Indoor Crafting
Since there are two different crafting zones, your recipe options will be differentdepending on whether you’recrafting indoors or outdoors. Certain crafting stations, home decorations, and furniture areaccessible in the indoor craftingconstruction menu.
You canmodify your home interior, like wallpaper, from the crafting menu as long as you have the recipe. Some of these recipes andcolor palettes can be purchased from vendors.

Purchased recipes work a little differently. You don’t need to craft them, but you may need tocraft items to trade for the recipeyou want.
If you purchase a recipe from a vendor, put it in your storage to make it accessiblein the appropriate crafting menu.

Outdoor Crafting
Your home is pretty small at first, so many of thecrafting stations you build can be placed outdoors. There are also certain things that youcan only craft outdoors.
You’ll need tocraft the plots of land where you grow crops, and a different type ofplot to grow flowers. You can only access this type of craftingfrom the outdoors menu.

Thecrafting symbol is the sameas it is for indoor crafting:a tiny hammerat the bottom of your screen. You’ll stillinteract with the ‘c’ key or the down arrow.
The more types of new items you harvest and craft, the morerecipes you will unlock.
Crafting Steps
Whether you are crafting something indoors or outdoors, the basic steps are the same. This makes it a little easier to remember once you get used to the process.
How To Use Crafting Stations
One of the ways you’ll craft is byusing crafting stations. There are many stations, and each one will allow you tocraft different recipes.
You’ll want tocraft each station as you unlock it. You’ll usually need something it produces to complete quests orprogress with the story.
If you accidentally make the wrong crafting station, like a duplicate you don’t want, you can reclaim itto get back the resources used to create it.
Reclaiming Crafted Items
To reclaim a crafted item, you’ll press ‘c’ or the down arrow toaccess the building mode. When the grid appears, move your character around until the item you want to move, rotate, or reclaim ishighlighted with a white grid.
Choose whichever option you want from the options it shows you on the screen. You can adjust the location of an item, or reclaim itwhich destroys the machineand gives you backall the resources from crafting it.
Interacting With Crafting Stations
One of the nice things about using crafting stations in Fae Farm is thatyou don’t need to watch the progress. You can do your mining or animal care while the crafting station processes your recipes.
Once you have crafted one of the stations and placed it indoors or outdoors, you’re able to interact with it.Each crafting station has its own set of recipesfor you to select.
To interact you should get a promptwhen your avatar is near enoughthat directs you to either left-click on the crafting station, or press the corresponding button on your controller.
Yourrecipes or accessible itemswill appear in the gridon the left side of the menu. If you process something it will show up in the grid on the right side.
In the middle will bekey information about the crafting process. You’ll see the recipe oritem you selected, as well asthe quantity of the item you will need.
Theresult you’ll get is also shown in the middlealong with thequantity of the processed item, so you know what to expect when you start crafting. For this Artisan Table,it takes 20 eggs to process into one mayonnaise.
Crafting An Item
Crafting recipes will takedifferent lengths of timeto complete. In general, the more advanced the processed result is,the longer it will take to craft.
When a recipe is done processing, there will bea little package tied with ribbonat the crafting station. Interact with the station again, and follow the on-screen prompts tocollect the items.
Some crafting stations havean extra step to accept the processed items. Once you press ‘x’ for keyboard or ‘A’ on controller to collect them, you may getan additional windowshowing you the items.Select the items againto receive them.
If you’re processing multiple items, you can still pick up any finished productsby interacting with the crafting station, even if it’s still processing.
Canceling a Crafting Session
There may be times when you select the wrong recipe to process, or you change your plans mid-crafting. That’s okay, becauseyou have the option to cancel the crafting queue.
You should still be careful when processing with the crafting stations. If you don’t cancel the process in time, you maylose some of the original ingredients.
Thecancel option may appear differentlyfor different crafting stations.
To cancel your crafting,do the following:
