You’ll have a hard time even getting past normal floors inEndless Dungeon, but the difficulty skyrockets when you meet one of the main bosses in the game. These bosses can be found in specific Districts, and each one of them has a unique set of abilities that get enhanced across multiple phases.
Bug Momma is most likely the first boss you’ll encounter in the game since her lair is in one of the beginner Districts of the game. However, that doesn’t mean that the battle against her will be easy. In fact, she’s one of the harder bosses to go against because of her complicated mechanics.

How To Reach Bug Momma
Endless Dungeon has a total of four main floors that you have to get past if you want to beat the game, but the second floor is the hardest one since that’s where you encounter your first main boss. If you want to find Bug Momma, you’ll have to get to the Labor Colony District on the second floor.
Once you reach a certain floor, you have to get past two zones to beat it. You’ll only find Bug Momma in the second zone of Labor Colony,so you have an entire zone to prepare for it before that. The only thing you’d want to prepare when it comes to this fight is a ton of Industry (at least 60 or more).

This is becauseyou won’t get to place any Generatorsonce you get to the second zone of Labor Colony.
After you open a few doors in the second zone, you’ll find a big room with a giant square-shaped hole in the middle. This iswhere Bug Momma spawns once you fulfill certain criteria. Here’s a full video on what you can expect from this fight:

Bug Momma Phase One
Once you locate Bug Momma’s spawn location, you’ll see a bunch of doors nearby. As you open these doors, you’ll eventually land in a room with a creature stuck inside a green-colored blob. Theboss spawns as soon as this blob bursts, which can happen in two ways:
The blob will only start its countdown to burst after you discover it,so the boss won’t spawn until you open the room.

It’s recommended to set up a bunch of turrets (preferably fire turrets) all around the blob instead of simply shooting it sinceconstant bugs will spawn from this location once the fight starts. These bugs will be quite a nuisance since you have to concentrate on dodging the boss' attack as well.
Place three to four turrets in the room with the spawner and head towards the boss. If you’re playing solo with AI teammates, it’s recommended to leave them in the spawn roomsince they’re not very good at dodging Bug Momma’s attacks. In the first phase, this boss will only have one attack where she sprays acid in a certain area.

This area is highlighted inred for a few seconds before the acid attack starts. You’ll also see a bunch of giant tanks around the boss. You canhide behind these as the attack starts to dodge it completely. Don’t try to tank this attack since it deals a lot of damage and slows down your character.
When you’re behind the tank, thevisual effect makes it seem like the attack is hitting you, but you’re safe.
Bug Momma Second Phase
Once you bring her down to about two-third of her health, she’llenter an invulnerable phase where none of your attacks will deal damage. At this point, you have to open more doors and locate the second blob to repeat the process. This is why you shouldn’t set more than four turrets near the first blob.
At this point, you can also ask one of your teammates to follow you so that you can leave them near the second blob.As long as you have one team member defending against the waves, you shouldn’t have the bugs bothering you. In the second wave, Bug Momma will also start spawning some air strikes on the field randomly.
These are usuallytargeted near your turrets and characters, but they can also be placed randomly.
Bug Momma Final Phase
The process repeats once again when the boss reaches about one-third of her health. You’ll have to find the third blob and place your setup there. However, this is where you have to make a choice. You can only place your teammates in two of the three wave spawners, so you need a good setup for the spawner that isn’t guarded by a member.
You won’t have much time to think about this when you open the room with the third blob, so it’srecommended to have the two spawners that are already revealed readybefore you open the third one. Characters like Comrade can help you quite a lot here since you can get two to three free turrets with this character.
Once you start the third phase, Bug Momma’s attack roughly remains the sameexcept the air strikes are more common and are higher in number. The battle ends as soon as you get rid of all her health and you can ask the Crystal Bot to open the final door to lead you to the elevator.
There are times when Bug Momma’s acid attackstarts rotating with your hero’s movement, however, this isn’t always the case.
