Mission Overview
Handler provides a follow-up briefing, indicating that your next mission will involveexploring Depth 2.
This sector consists of an extensive rail network designed for resource transportation, featuring a complex route with many blind spots.

This meansyou will need to prepare for close-range encounters.
In this mission, you won’t have your typical quest marker to guide you,and you’ll need to find the way on your own.
The good news is that it’s not a confusing maze where you’re likely to get lost. However, there are a few turns and paths worth exploring tocollect some valuable items along the way.

Recommended Loadout
During your time in theUnderground Exploration - Depth 2mission, you’ll primarilyface enemies in closed areas. This means long-range weapons won’t be very effective.
For instance, you might want to consider equippingmelee weapons like the Pulse Blade or Laser Blade. They havecharged attacks that can take on multiple nearby enemies.

If you prefer, you may also useenergy-based weapons like the Plasma Riflein this mission.
Another good choice is theZimmerman shotgunif you’re confident in your shotgun skills. It packs a punch and surprisinglyhas decent range for a shotgun.

For your shoulder weapons, thePlasma Missile Launcher is a solid option due to its wider blast radius. In a close-quarters environment, having this kind of firepower to deal with multiple enemies is a smart move.
On the other hand,SONGBIRDS are always a dependable choicefor shoulder weapons. They’re particularlyeffective for the staggering effectthey have on enemies when you hit them with those missiles.

As for your AC setup, it’s up to your personal preference. You can opt for alight AC for increased agilityor aheavy one for more AP and defensive capabilities. The choice is yours.
Reach The End Of Depth 2 (First Objective)
At the beginning of the mission, start byinteracting with the door in front of you, and then proceed forward. After you go down,be careful from the enemy to your right.
Once you’ve dealt with that enemy, follow the tunnel on your rightand you’ll encounter more enemies on the way.

If you have your melee weapons, use them first and then finish off the remaining enemies with your missile shoulder weapons. This should dispatch them quickly.
In a large room after defeating the enemies, you’ll come acrossa locked door directly ahead, which is the main path of the mission.

In order to unlock it, you’ll need topower up the area.Head to theroom on your left and drop down through a hole in the floor.
As soon as you descend, be prepared for another enemy ambush.

After dealing with these enemies,in the next room, you’ll finda panelyou can interact with to power up the area, subsequentlyunlocking the previous door.
This action will alsounlock the elevator located on the left side of the panel, taking you directly back in front of the door you initially encountered.

Now the door is unlocked, proceed up ahead to get your second objective log of the mission.
Defeat G5 Iguazu
After interacting with the second on your way, you’ll encounterG5 Iguazu, a boss you’ll need to defeat.
While Iguazu isn’t particularly tough, this boss isagile and wields multiple weapons.

The most effective approach for this boss fight is touse the Pulse Blade to push Iguazu against a wall and trap him in a corner, then, quicklylaunch your missiles to increase the stagger meter.
Switch back to your primary weapon, like the Plasma Rifle if you have it, and unleash significant damage on him. This tactic is your best bet.
If you’ve equipped theZimmerman shotgun, you’ll find it quite effective in taking down this boss.
Once you manage to defeat G5 Iguazu, you’ll immediately receivea Combat Log.
Reach The End Of Depth 2 (Second Objective)
After Ayre confirms that Iguazu has been defeated, the door in this room will unlockand you will be able to continue with your mission.
Don’t forget to use the Supply Dropon the right side of the arena before moving forward.
Follow the tunnel, andyou’ll encounter an MT that will attack you but then attempt to escape.
Your objective is tokeep following him and avoid his attacks.
He’ll initially leap ontoa bridge to the right, and then he’ll continue forward until you reach a locked door, blocking your path.
While you’re in this area, there are two collectiblesthat you can grab.

Hidden Part Container #2
Starting from where the hidden part container is located, exit the room and turn leftto head back towards the bridge.
This isthe same path you’ll want to follow to progress in the mission.
Once you’re back on the bridge, look to your rightand you’ll spot somerocky platforms below. You need to make your way down using them.
Be cautious as you descend, and make sure not to exhaust your boost.
You’ll need to carefully navigate your way downuntil you come across an entrance that resembles a sewer opening.
After you locate it, go inside, and you’ll discovera Catapult that can launch you upward.
Fly upwards until you reach the top, andright in front of you, there’ll be a chest guarded by two enemies.
Make sure to defeat these two enemies first, and you can loot the chest to obtainIA-C01A: Ephemera (Arms).
From the previous hidden part chest, you’ll findan entrance to your rightwhere you’ll encounter more basic enemies to deal with.
At the top of the wall ahead, you’ll see an entrance resembling a tube. Proceed through it and eventually, you’ll finda hole that you’ll need to descend into.
From this point, the process remains the same where you’ll need to locate a panel to power up the area, which unlocks the previously locked door.
In the next room, make your way to the endwhere you’ll finda panel to power up the area.
Right after you activate it,you’ll be ambushed by more enemiesattempting to hinder your progress.
They should be relatively easy to handle using your Plasma Rifle or Zimmerman shotgun.
Once you’ve dealt with them, head to the elevator on the opposite side of the roomand continue forward.
You’ll come across aSupply Drop, which you should take advantage of because there’s a challenging boss fight ahead before you can complete your mission.

Once you successfully defeat the ENFORCER, the mission will be completed, and you’ll be rewarded with300,000 COAM.
