Yerma’s Helping Hand

If you’vetalked to Yerma near the bottom of the Ravine of the High Stones, shewill appear just outside the doorway leading to Radamés.Speaking to her here willgrant you the option of having her join youfor the encounter.

Accepting her assistancewon’t have her tag alongside you throughout the entire fight.Instead, she willperiodically pop up throughout the course of the battle and deliver a hit on Radamésthatdeals a substantial chunk of damageto him.

Great Preceptor Radamés: Phase One Guide

Phase oneof theRadamésencounter is just a mere warm-up of things to come, having onlyfour generally well-telegraphed attacksthat areeasy to counter or Evadeentirely. While he still poses a substantial threat here, it’s nothing compared to what lies beyond this.

Low Swing

At thevery startof the encounter, Radamés will typically kick things off with aLow Swingthat’s telegraphed by himrotating his body slightly to the side before unleashing a low-profiled swipe.

While thiscovers a decent amount of range, you caneasily avoid this attack by running awayfrom Radamés.Wait for him to whiff the attack, then run back toward himto get a few of your own in!

Another one of Radamés' attacks is hisOverhead Strike, which istelegraphed by a bright yellow gleam in his eye socketjust before hebrings his giant arm downward into the ground with tremendous force.

This attackdeals massive amounts of damage,so be on the lookout for that bright yellow gleam. As soon as you see it,begin running away from him immediatelyto avoid taking damage. If you are near the cornerof the arena, use your Wall Jump ability to jump high above his hitbox.

After whiffing this attack,Radamés will be vulnerablefor a bit, so make sure youget in there to land several uncontested hits on himbefore he recovers and goes back on the offensive!

Piercing Glass Charge

A common action of Radamés in this phase is hisPiercing Glass Charge, having himprotrude shards of glass from his body before charging full speed toward you, only stopping when hesmashes himself into the wall.

This movecan be jumped over normally, but thetiming is relatively tight,so westrongly urge you to use the Wall Jump ability to get better heightso you may clear it easily, allowing you to breathe a little easier whenever you see this attack coming.

Upon landing, you will bedirectly behind Radamés,enabling you to turn around andbegin unloading onto him. After he recovers, create some space between you and him and prepare for his next action!

Purple Projectiles

Despite many of his attacks being close quarters, Radamés can also launchPurple Projectiles, but they’re the easiest of the bunch to evade. You canEvade through the lowest ones and pass underneath the higher ones, making it the best method to combat this move.

If hehas you pinned tight against the wall, using yourWall Jumpwill be your best option, as you canjump over the highestmost one and simultaneously clear the bottom-most onein the process. Whichever you have to do,Radamés will be left wide open if you dodge this attack, giving you lots of time to land a few attacks of your own!

Great Preceptor Radamés: Phase Two Guide

After youdrop Radamés' health a bit past the halfway point,he willsuddenly stand up from the sand, revealing that he is a towering skeleton that could probably level you in an instant if he wanted to.

This is the beginning ofphase two, whereRadamés suddenly decides to have seven moves, some returning, some entirely new for you to adapt to and attempt to counter. More or less, this is where things get challenging, so buckle up!

Meteors

Immediately upon standing up,Radamés will begin munching on a corpse while Meteors rain from the skyand into the arena. During this attack,Radamés will begin refilling his HPas you dance around the arena, desperate to evade the incoming boulders.

There’s not much more to this attack than that. Yousimply have to reposition yourself to evade the enormous boulders falling from the skywhile youhopelessly watch Radamés' HP fill back up.

It will onlyfill up roughly to the halfway point, sohe doesn’t gain a ton of HP back, andyou can land several hits on him when the last Meteor is falling downand if it’s not directly beside him!

Standing Piercing Glass Charge/Meteors

One of the returning moves in Radamés' new standing stance is thePiercing Glass Charge, whichcan only be avoided by Wall Jumping up and over him. However, when he crashes into the wall,Meteors will begin raining from the sky, making you have to focus on your surroundings before mindlessly laying into him.

Radamés will be stuck on the wall for an extended period,so if no Meteor is falling near him, you shouldtake this time to unleash a flurry of attackson him. Fortunately,he has no corpse to munch on here, so his HP will not refill!

Glass Shard Slash

As the final Meteor is coming down, Radamés will always imbue his hand in a Glass Shard and perform a devastating slashwith it that can catch you off guard if you aren’t paying attention. Fortunately, this move ishighlighted early with a purple outline and a deep red streak of blood.

Whenever youstart to see the Meteors come to an end,we suggest youstart moving away from Radamés immediately, asthis attack will mess you up immensely. While the free hits are excellent, you do not want to get caught up in this, so just run away from him as soon as you see the final boulder, then prepare for what’s next!

Glass Runway

Next up is another common attack of Radamés', having himcast a Runway of sharp shards of Glass along the ground of the arenathattravels from where he’s standing all the way to the wall.To evade this attack, youmust time a Wall Jump to stall long enough to land where the trail of glass is disappearing.

He will launch three wavesof this Glass Runway, soalways run back toward the wall after you land,or you will get annihilated by the following waves. We don’t recommend going for an attack here.Just use the other attacks that offer more breathing room for that!

Gust Of Glass

After each Glass Runway attack,Radamés willend it with a Gust of Glass, casting asmall pocket of high winds at the wallcontaining shards of glass within it, making itspan outwardwith great force.Move away from the wall to avoid taking damage, butbe on high alert for more follow-up attacks!

Lightning Glass

There are moments whereRadamés will cast Lightning Glass immediately after Gust of Glass, pinning you between a rock and a hard place. If you go too far in any direction here, you will be caught in some pretty nasty attacks.

As a result,we strongly urge you not to go on the offensive after Glass Runway or Gust of Glass.Instead, werecommend that you place yourself just beside the hitbox of the Gust of Glass and ride it out until Radamés does literally anything else.Trust us, you do not want to get hit here by these attacks!

Standing Purple Projectiles

Lastly, we have another returning move:Radamés' Purple Projectiles. However, thetrajectory is slightly different due to his new height, but they arehandled similarly. You canEvade underneath the highest ones and can pass through the lower oneswith the same method.

Handle this attack the exact same way as beforeandtry to avoid jumping if at all possible,as the added elevation of Radamés can stuff any attempt of that in an instant!
