With character ascension requiring a high count of materials that you’re able to only procure through defeating some of these bosses, preparing before diving in is as good an idea as any. The pair ofexquisitedancing Meka created by the Fontaine Research Institute, Coppelia and Coppelius, are not your average bosses, after all.

Where To Find Icewind Suite

The Icewind Suite exhibitionis plainly visible in the overworld.

To find it you just need tohead to the Court of Fontaine Region. Teleport to theFountain of Lucine waypoint and head Northwestfrom there. The Meka dancers Coppelia and Coppelius will be in theoutdoor theater structure at the edge of the walkway.

How To Choose The Challenge Type

You willnot be able to engage the Meka dancers directly. To start a challenge, you will need tospeak to Maillardet, an NPC standing at thetop of the South staircasenext to aKamera. He is the researcher in charge of the Icewind Suite exhibition.

You will have the option totry one of two versions:

The first time you speak with Maillardet, he willexplain the purpose of the Icewind Suite challengeand invite you to help him gather combat data on the Meks. You will need tospeak with him each subsequent timeto be able tochallenge the boss.

What Is Different In Each Icewind Suite Challenge?

When challenging these bosses you will quickly notice thatboth dancers will be present both of the options, and they will both attack you.

However, there will always be some fundamentaldifferences that will depend on the challenge type:

Lumine (female travelet) stands in front of the Fountain of Lucine. On the other half of the slanted image, a map of the area shows an arrow pointing towards the Icewind Suite boss

In both challenges Coppelia and Coppelius will remainAnemo and Cryo based, respectively, so it helps to be prepared tocounter both of these elements, regardlessof who you choose to fight.

How To Defeat Dirge Of Coppelia

As the star of Side A, Coppelia will often dance in the center of the floor. She will consistently defend herself withslashes of her fan and by deploying small Anemo whirlwinds around herself, but you will still bemoving from the outside inthroughout the fight.
